What we saw was horrifying but Carol pounced on the guard while Astrid got hiccup out of there. Carol got him tied up and helped Astrid carry hiccup to the deck, while the others had already got the dragons out and are destroying the other ships. But as they were getting hiccup on Stormfly...

As they were helping hiccup, he say something flew towards Astrid. As his eye widened he jumped off and pulled Astrid against his chest saving her and himself from the stake that was thrown toward them. It hit Stormfly but due to her scales, it did nothing to her, thankfully. They got on Stormfly once again and took off to berk where Hiccup was placed in an ICU after surgery for his various injuries but he survived thankfully. After he recovered they finally got together and lived happily to the end of time as Astrid willingly became a vampire to stay with Hiccup. And as for a cerian fleet of ships and its crew well... rumor has it that It went down in flames and slashed to pieces and their crew drowned by a certain gold and blue, silver, and black with prosthetic, dragons but who knows what truly happened that day...
