"So...how am I even supposed to learn my abilities?" I say to no one in particular frustrated.
"Once I heard you turned into one of us I came to help," someone said from behind me. I looked around for the voice but saw no one until the cocked figure came out of hiding. "You should know me after all I am a friend right?" They said while removing the clock revealing Heather.
"Heather? You're a Vampire too?" I asked shocked while she comes and sits next to me.
"Yea, I was turned a few years back. I had to learn alone which is SUPER difficult so I came to help. Dagur, Mala, Throck, Atali are all got turned to your not alone in this. But unfortunately, there are only so many Vampires that are good and don't attack." Heather explained sighing.
"That's reassuring thanks, Heather. But do you know who sent the blood crate?" I told her deciding not to question Heather further about the good vs bad Vampires.
"Heh, ya that was me. There's one more thing but I don't think you will like it though..." Heather trailed off she looked sad.
"What is it?" I asked her curiosity getting the better of me.
"...because you just turned it's dangerous for you to be around humans while you are still learning about your powers, you can do it but...you might accidentally hurt someone and that includes dragons," Heather said
"What are you saying, Heather?" I asked extremely nervous
Heather sighs and says "You have to leave berk."
"What? Why?" I panic I don't want to leave! My friends and family are here! And my crush, Astrid!
"I understand that you don't want to leave but...in order for you to keep them safe from you Hiccup until you learn how to control your powers, it's not safe. Once you learn how to control them you can return. It can take from a few days to...thousands of years. I recommend you spend much time as you can with them and leave leaving a note and something for each of them if you do decide to leave." Heather tells me sighing.
I sigh "I'll come with you give me 2 weeks with them?" I ask her hopefully.
"Sure, but for now you NEED to know how to turn into a bat." Heather smiles sadly
I smile and say "Okay where do we start?"
~On the cliff that is at the edge of the ocean~
"So what do I do? You told me everything about turning into one but not letting me try yet" I ask.
"This." She answers while pushing me off the cliff.
"Gah!" I yell falling once I get back she pushes me again once again I yell but this time I Transform into a brownish-black bat with forest/emerald green eyes I fly up and transport back and ask "What was that for?"
"Simple. Most Fledglings can't transform by knowing how to but they must fall in order to transform for the first time. It's a matter of fear to transform." Heather explains
"oh sorry for yelling and thanks"
"It's fine, see you here in two weeks?" She Asks
"Yea, I'm assuming I can't bring Toothless"
"Unfortunately so, but the good news is that Night Furies are immortal as well so you have a very good chance of seeing him again. as long as he doesn't get killed any other way, you can tell him Night fury know of Vampires learning process." She tells me I smile and walk away.
~The next day~
"Hey bud" He tilts his head "I know after these two weeks you'll be sad but stay strong for me okay? I want you to live your life happily," I sigh and continue "Bud, I got turned into a vampire, I know you know that means I have to leave to learn to control my new powers. will you take care of yourself and the gang, gobber, and dad for me please?" I tell him he looks sad but understanding and purs and the look in his eyes say 'Of course, but try and be back soon please' I smile and he knows that I want to be back soon as possible.
I have to leave tonight as it's the last day and I packed everything I wrote my notes and left everyone something to remember me by as I enter Astrid's hut...the last one...I place down the double-sided ax, wolf-fur hood, and the note I walk over to her and smile seeing her asleep. I sigh and say quietly but loud enough for her to hear "I don't know if you will remember this but...I'm leaving for everyone's safety I was turned into Vampire, I'm sorry. But I promise you I will return soon as I can. I-I don't want to leave but I have to because I-I love you too much to see you get hurt because of me...." I then kiss her on the lips and when I stop she is smiling and I leave sadly and meet up with Heather and leave.
Astrid's POV
As I wake up I see something on my desk that was one odd dream.. it seemed so real though. After I put my clothes on I walk over to it and see an ax, a wolf-fur hood, and a note. Hiccup. I'll have to thank him later. I put on the hood and strap the double-sided ax to my back I pick up the note and start reading:

By the time I finished reading it I was crying with a hand over my mouth. I dropped the letter and fell to my knees sobbing into my arms. I don't know how long passed until Ruffnut came in and saw me crying and run over to comfort me and I said "I guess you know...Hiccup left"
"Yea, he left to protect us from berks enemies though everyone's sad. Stoick announced it to the village at breakfast. Is there another reason why you crying" Ruff told me.
"Yea...you know how I had a crush on Hiccup...yea um he told me loves me in his note but he left," I told her and she gasped.
"Oh no, he's protecting you...from everyone who wants to hurt berk." Ruff said "That pretty cute"
"Huh, I guess...just sad"
"Well cheer up because he'll come back eventually he always does!" Ruff said, "The new ax and hood was from him correct?"
"Yea," I tell her putting the note on my side table Little does she know he might not return when we're alive. I'll send him a terror telling him I feel the same and yada yada.
I forgot to mention this is before they leave for the edge. But they do look like how they do in RTTE with the exception of Astrid she looks like Astrid does in HTTYD2 but with an ax similar to Heathers and a blue instead of the red shirt.
