"So, she gave you the royal sapphire, JUST LIKE THAT!" Indiana asked as Flora took off the dress.

Flora nodded as she slipped on her grey hoodie. She tied the laces of her sneakers and placed the white heels inside a plastic bag.

"But at least now we have a way out." Flora replied as she took out the bobby pins pinned to her hair. Her ashy curls came tumbling down, relieving her aching head. "I can always give her the ring back after the annulment."

"Well, this whole mess is done and over with." Indiana stated. "And I hope you learned your lesson."

"Trust me, I am never touching an ounce of alcohol." Flora replied.

"I wouldn't go that far." Indiana said causing the brunette to giggle.

Indiana and Flora exited the bathroom and walked back to where Hayden and William were.

"Are you sure?" They heard William say as they entered the room. Hayden turned to the pair and cleared his throat.

"Good, you are done." He said and Flora gave him a curious look. She wondered what they had been talking about.

The nervous look that William wore did not help the matter, but he soon replaced it with a smile.

"Yeah." Flora said. "Is everything alright?"

"Yes, why wouldn't it be?" William replied with a nervous chuckle at the end.

"William, would you please escort Miss Evans back to her apartment?" Hayden asked to which William nodded.

"What? Why? You're not taking my best friend away from me." Indiana snapped as she clutched onto her friend's arm.

"Flora and I have important matters to discuss." Hayden replied removing Flora from Indiana's grip, despite her protests.

"Milady?" William called as he extended his bent arm for Indiana to take. The blonde was hesitant, but as soon as her friend reassured her with a smile she interlocked her arms with William's.

"I do not understand what we need to contemplate." Flora snapped as she turned to face Hayden with crossed arms.

Flora could not understand why Hayden was contemplating the solution to their problem. They could both finally get this mistake over with and move on. There was an exit to this problem and he was hesitant about it.

"We should talk about it over brunch." Was Hayden's reply before he exited the chapel.

A now angered Flora followed his lead and stormed out of the chapel. She entered the car and took a seat next to Hayden, slamming the car door shut before Antonio could.

"We finally have the solution to our problem and you are being hesitant about it?" Flora asked in disbelief.

       "Flora—"

"This whole situation could be done with and we could go back to our normal lives." Flora argued. "You could go back to being the most wanted bachelor and I could go back to being just Flora."

       "That's the problem!" Hayden disputed.

Flora flinched at his sudden change in tone and realization dawned on her.

No, it couldn't be. She thought to herself.

"Don't tell me your highness fell in love with me." Flora joked trying to seek the truth from him.
