All I could do in that moment was stand there, wondering how I'm seeing him right now.
My heart felt like it split into pieces and it felt like I was dreaming.
I simply couldn't describe the feeling.

He sat there, staring at me across the room, wondering how this was possible.

I didn't care about anything in the world at this moment other than him.

I slowly trudged over towards him, my legs feeling wobbly and numb.
His eyes became glazed with tears, as he tried holding them back.

"No way it's you." I trembled as I slowly walked over to him.

"No way it's you." he gulped as he shot his body up from the bed, facing me as I walked closer to him.

I bit my lip in attempt of holding back whimpers. My lip trembled as I walked over to him, trying to form words but nothing came out.

We stood about 5 feet away from each other, studying each other's eyes.
His face was unrecognizable.
He was charming, and very attractive. His jaw has chiseled out, and had structure. His dark brown eyes were intimidating, yet so dreamy.
He stood about 7 inches taller than me, as he towered over me.

All I wanted to do in that moment was feel his touch, be in his presence.
So I ran to him and jumped into his arms, as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
Feeling his arms around my body made me feel safe and shielded.
Like there was nobody else in the world besides us.

I laid my head on his chest, listening to the sound of his heartbeat.
He laid his head on top of mine, as we stood there in each other's arms for the first time.

I could feel his abs through his thin robe, and noticed his body has gotten toned and muscular over the past years.

I can't believe I'm in his arms, it seems so unreal. Too good to be true.

I finally released myself from his arms and gazed back into his eyes, as he looked down at me.
His face almost looked like he was actually smiling for once.

"Where the hell have you been?" I trembled.

"Not far from here." he replied, his face tense, with sunken cheeks.

"I sent you a letter. Did it not get to you?" I pondered as I gazed at his fluffy brown hair that waved away from his face.

He hesitated for a moment before saying anything, like he didn't want to say the wrong thing.
"I got the letter Avalon." he mumbled.

"What?" I questioned as my face became tense and resentful. "Why didn't you write back?"

"Because." he sighed, not knowing the right thing to say next. "I couldn't."

"Why not?" I asked, holding back my tears.
I looked down at the floor, so he wouldn't see my glassy eyes.

"I can't care about someone Avalon. I care about you, for some reason, and it terrifies me." he gulped.

I looked back up at him and bit my lip, trying to hold back from screaming.
"You wrote me first. You had me all excited and hoping for a chance to talk to you again for what? So that you could ignore me for months after?" I choked on my own words.

"I didn't know what I was thinking writing you that letter on Christmas Avalon, I just missed you that's all. But i'm not going to let you get in my way of my plan." Tom quavered, trying to control his shaky voice.
