"When is this damn train coming i'm freezing." Draco groaned as he leaned against the wall. We were in the middle of 9 3/4, standing side by side waiting patiently for the train to arrive. Belle and Theo have mysteriously disappeared so it was just us.
All of a sudden we heard the loud noise of the train coming to an abrupt stop and the chattering of the kids hopping on the train.
We instantly followed them, hoping there would be no full compartments but when we got in the train it was filled with people already."I swear if we don't get seats and have to squish with Cedric again-" I mumbled as we strode through the compartments.
We passed through every compartment desperately trying to find empty seats but there were none.
I glanced around to see Draco suddenly gone, leaving me alone in the middle of the hallways searching for a place to sit."Avalon, come sit!" Fred called out from a distance. A large grin grew upon my face seeing the twins, I haven't talked with them in a while.
"Hello my favorite gingers." I smirked as I made my way to their compartment and scooted over next to George.
"You looked really dumb standing there looking for a seat so we made it easier for you." George grinned.
"You guys saved my life." I said sarcastically as I rested my head onto George's shoulder.
The train started pounding over the tracks and we soon left 9 3/4. Over the next hour, I saw the sun quickly turn into the moon outside the window and the brightness turn into darkness.
"We saw your brother sit with Hermione." Fred blurted.
"Yeah what's that all about? Don't they despise each other?" George raised his eyebrows.
"People who despise each other usually end up getting together George." Fred muttered.
"Draco's sitting with Hermione?" I pondered, trying to look around. "I'm pretty sure they've been owling each other all summer."
"No way." they both replied in unison.
I nodded my head and they looked at each other with wide eyes and jaws wide open.
Suddenly, I heard Ron calling my name."Pssst Avalon, come sit with us." Ron whispered from the compartment in front of us.
I got up from my seat and trudged over to Ron's compartment, only to see Harry sitting across from him. Harry and I haven't talked since 4th year, at the yule ball when my brother poured punch all over him.
"Hey guys." I mumbled sheepishly as I sat myself next to Ron.
"Someone's been avoiding us all year." Ron mumbled as he dug in his pocket and pulled out a chocolate frog.
"Of course not, things just haven't been the best for me lately. But i'm fine really, just glad to be back." I smiled.
"Ahem." Harry cleared his throat, but Ron and I continued talking to each other.
"For fucks sake." Harry muttered to himself. "Ahem!" he repeated louder.
"What the fuck do you want Harry?" Ron blurted.
"I would like an apology."
"From who?" I questioned.
"From you, you dipshit." Harry shot his eyes at me.
"What the hell did I do?"
"You lead me on at the Yule ball just for me to get punch spilled all over me by your brother. Not to mention, I saw you and Tom Riddle together and it ruined my whole day. No, my whole week. Matter of fact it ruined my whole year."
