If anyone was to stumble across Aurélien Cullen and Seth Clearwater laying in the middle of the flowery field in the forest of Forks, locked in an embrace and naked except for their underwear, their clothes fashioned into a blanket of sorts to lay on, they would immediately know they were in love. Not the frantic and electric love of youth having their very first experience of desire for another person, or that of the steady love of two young adults in their very first serious relationship and beginning to shape their worlds around one another, or even that of the love between older people who'd existed together fur so long that they didn't know where one ended and the other began. No, instead it was somehow all three. It was as if Seth and Aurélien were simultaneously experiencing the sensation of love for the first time, had planted their love in the soil and were watching it bloom, and also had loved each other for so long that a time before their love had long faded from memory. It seemed impossible, and yet the love they shared seemed both newborn, young and so very old all at the same time.
"Tu est mon univers. Tu es mon couer et mon âme. Mon soleil et ma lune. Je vivrais pour tois et meurs pour tois. Pour toujours avec toi est un cadeau et un privilège," Aurélien said softly as he stroked Seth's pitch black hair affectionately.
"I seriously need to learn some French beyond bonjour, j'mapelle Seth," Seth complained from Aurélien's bare chest, eyes closed and face peaceful. Their legs were tangled up together and their body's had not an inch of space between any part of them.
"I'll teach you. I have a a teaching qualification. I'm technically a professor."
"Professor Cullen," Seth echoed, testing out the sound of the title before giggling. "Teach me French Professor Cullen," he ordered with faux seriousness, shifting so he was now straddling Aurélien rather than laying on his chest.
"J'habite en USA. I live in the USA," Aurélien said, rising up to wrap his arms around his boyfriend. Seth repeated the sentence, his pronunciation a little clunky and Americanised, but over all not bad. Seth practically preened when he told him so.
"I'm going to start calling you sir."
"Oh?" Aurélien asked, sending a change in direction of the conversation.
"And I'll buy a school uniform."
Aurélien's eyebrows rise at the image of Seth in a school uniform. The vampire himself had when quite a few in his life time as they were quite common in most other counties. As someone who had a habit of owning the same item of clothing in varying different colours and essentially just recycling the exact same outfit, he enjoyed it immensely when they were parading as human in the countries that had them. A few of his siblings thought differently, Alice and Rosalie complaining at the loss of opportunity to express themselves trough their wardrobe (read: showing off), Emmett complaining about kissing his comfy hoodies and jogging bottoms goodbye, and Edward complaining because that was just what he did.
