The Virgo twins were seated in their living room, with one eyeing the other suspiciously.
"Care to explain why you were at the club with the one and only, Lee Minho?" Jisung raised a brow. "You told me to stay away from here and yet, you were hanging out with him.
Felix avoided any eye contact with the latter. "It was a coincidence. We just happened to be at the same place at the same time! I could ask you the same thing!"
"Lix, I worked there," Jisung could only sigh at the response. "I'm not stupid. You would never go into a club by yourself." He then noticed how uncomfortable the male in front of him was getting, so he decided to drop it. "Just don't do anything stupid that would get you killed. I'm going to wash up and probably sleep, ciao!"
"W-wait!" Felix grabbed his roommate's arm. "It's not like I don't want to tell you. It's just-"
"Lix, look at me. I'm not going to force you to tell me anything. If you don't feel comfortable, then don't. It's not the end of the world."
Jisung smiled as he slid the small grasp away. Because I'm also keeping something from you.
"You're such an angel, what the fuck," The freckled boy pulled his roommate into a hug.
"Angel is a stretch but you're welcome. Can you let me go? I want to shower and then slee-"
"Nour! You've never come home early so don't sleep yet, please! And you still haven't eaten anything yet so let me whip something up and watch a movie while we eat. Afterward you can sleep," Felix whined as he swung Jisung's arm back and forth.
"Alright, alright, I won't sleep just yet. But one movie only." Jisung empathizes the one. "Go ask Seungmin and Jeongin if they want to join as well."
Felix jumped with excitement and called their neighbors over. Opening the doors for the two, Jisung headed to the shower while Felix started to prep the food.
"Hey, guys!" Jisung grinned, coming out of the washroom.
"Hey there, Ji," Seungmin greeted back.
Jeongin gasped. "Lix wasn't lying when he said you'll be here!"
Jisung laughed at the younger's reaction. "Yes, I'm here, Jeongin."
"But why are you home early?" Seungmin asked. "You're usually home around twelve or later."
"Long story short, some guy mistook me for someone and dragged me away from my position. When my boss came to check on his employees, he saw that I wasn't there and could care less about my explanation and fired me." Then it hit him. I got fired. "Shit I need to look for a new job."
The youngest out of the three couldn't help but tilt his head when he heard the last part. "Why do you need to go job hunting again? Don't you already have four other jobs already and even more on the weekends? Isn't this a good thing that you got fired?"
"Innie don't even ask," Felix chimed in. "Jisung is plain out weird."
"I'm not weird! I just need money. Even with all the jobs I have, I only work for a short amount of time. Meaning I don't get paid as much as you think. I did the math and I need about five main jobs to be able to pay for rent and the bills. The side jobs I do on the weekends are for pocket money," Jisung explained.
"Don't you have parents to provide you with pocket money?" Seungmin asked, oblivious with Jisung's past.
"I don't want to bother them since they're always busy," He lied.
The topic eventually died down as they talked about something else while waiting for the food to be finished. Felix came out with a plate of pasta and to Jisung's surprise, it was delicious. He didn't know if it was because he was too tired or because he was too hungry. They quickly finished their food and moved to the living room, trying to figure out what to watch.
"What about, Train to Busan?" Felix proposed.
"Nah I don't wanna cry, right now," Seungmin replied.
"Hmm, what about 365 Days? People kept on talking about it on the internet and I wanna know what it's about," Jeongin suggested.
They all whipped their heads to the maknae and looked at him like he was an alien or something.
"Umm Innie, I think you should stay away from the internet for a while," Jisung coughed.
"Why? Is it bad or something?" Jeongin frowned.
"Yea let's go with that," Jisung quickly changed the topic. "What about Bad Genius?"
"Never heard that before, let's watch it," Felix beamed.
"Yea seems interesting," Seungmin joined.
Felix turned on the TV and played the film. It was an interesting Thai movie. The movie was about a girl helping her classmates cheat on exams, in exchange for money. The methods she came up with were relatively creative. Either tapping her fingers on the desk or engraving the answers into a pencil, she was making a hefty sum of money. When the movie ended, they four decided to stay up a bit longer and talked to each other. After a while, they started getting drowsy so they decided to call it a day. Seungmin and Jeongin went back to their flat while the Virgo twins big each other a goodnight.
