Ian's POV

She stared at me with wide eyes. What if she said no? no she wouldn't do that. What if she did?

"Earth to Ian Parker!" I heard her scream. I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't realise her laughing.

"So?" I asked biting my lower lip to keep in my excitement.

"I said yes Ian, what were you thinking?" she raised her eyebrows in confusion. I raised my eyebrows in confusion.

"What?"
"YES IAN. ILL GO THE BALL WITH YOU."

I looked at her staring at me. I picked her up and twirled her in the air while we laughed. I put her down and she hugged me.

She hugged me.

I was so taken back I forgot to hug her back. She let go. "Uh-I.. sorry I didn- "I pulled her back into my arms. This was the moment I've been dreading for so long. To hold her in my arms again.

"I missed you," I whispered in her ears.

"I missed you too." She smiled and pulled away.

We had dessert with the rest laughing around. Soon we headed back to the hotel. Tomorrow was a big day. We needed sleep. After dropping Kia to her room, I went into mine and took a quick shower and started drying my hair. I heard a knock on my door. Who could it be at this time? I was only wearing sweatpants, but I decided to go open the door. I made my way to the door and opened it slightly, peaking out while drying my hair with the other hand. I saw Kia standing there with tank and shorts. She had something hid behind her back. I opened the door completely and stood in front of her.

"Like what you see?" I smirk, noticing her staring at my abs. She lets out a chuckle realising she had been staring.

"Come in." I smiled at her. She walks in as I close the door.

"Uh, I came to give you something...back." She spoke.

"And what might that be?" I asked, confused.

"You remember the day you came over my house, and while we were fighting Adrian showed up?"

"Yeah?" I was still not understanding what she was talking about.

"Well, when you were leaving Adrian brought you your bag right?"

"Yeah, he's quite a charmer."
"Well, he took out your diary which was hanging out and....."
"Wait what?" I don't remember taking my diary with me, but that explains the reason I wasn't able to find. I thought I had lost it in the house.

"Don't be mad. I was going to return it to you the next day, but I saw the picture of us sticking out and, I couldn't find you the next day and I got mad when I saw you kissing that girl that I forgot about it and I decided to read a bit during the plane ride and- "
"Hey hey. It's fine." I cupped her cheeks as she was ranting out. "If I'd let anyone read it, it'd be you." I smiled. She handed me my diary and smiled. I kept the diary on the bed, one hand still on her face.

"You should sleep. We have a long da- "before I could finish I felt her lips crash on mine as she wrapped her arms around my neck.

Fuck.

I kissed her back. She tasted sweet. Like strawberries. I could sense her melting at my touch. I still had the same effect on her after all these years. She pulled away breathing heavily. Ugh.

"Goodnight." She smiled and left. I stood there taking in what just happened. Her soft lips against mine. The way her lips moved. I sat on the bed, rest my head on it. I picked up the diary. I came across handwriting that was not mine.
