Dani's Perspective
"Jamieeee!" I shouted from across the flat. The snow that started falling last night stilll didn't stop coming. Jamie was still in our bedroom unaware of the snow chaos that was happening at the moment.
"One moment." She groaned
Jamie grew up in England and pretty much has never seen real snow. I was used to it as I lived in a cold area.
"Morning Poppins. What's happening?" She asked. In reply, I pointed out at the snow.
This was the first snow that year, so most people weren't prepared for it. It was quite the chaos outside.
Jamies Jaw dropped when she saw the snow. "Woah that's beautiful. That's gotta be at least 10 inches of snow."
"Yep," I agreed "How about we leave the store closed today. Most people won't go outside much today, so we might as well give ourselves a snow day. How about skiing?"
Jamie had a critical look on her face. "I don't think I am any good at that. I've never skied before.""You'll be fine. I bet you are a great skier and I can teach you. There is a nice ski resort really close by and you can rent all equipment too." I reassure her
"Fine I guess. Maybe it'll be fun. I definetly wanna do something in the snow." She confirmed
"Okay. Put on some warm clothes and lets get going!" I exclaimed "I am soo excited!"
Jamie went to the bedroom to get changed out of her pyjamas, I followed shortly after. I started changing with her. She put on some sweatpants under snowpants and a hoodie, while I was wearing a turtleneck with leggins and snowpants as well.
"Damn Poppins. You even look good in the ugliest snowpants known to man." Jamie joked. She put her hands around my waist and gave me a slow and passionate kiss. After a while she pulled away.
My heart dropped a little.
"Ok, you wanna leave now?" Jamie questioned "I bet we are not the only ones that wanna go skiing."
I nodded. I was still thinking about the kiss, so I wasn't particularly focused.
We got in the car, and started the drive to Saint Johns Ski Resort. It was usually just a ten minute drive but due to the fresh snow, it took us about thirty.
We arrived, borrowed all of our gear and brought a ski pass for the day.
"Okay, so how does this work?" Jamie asked.
"So, basically we just take the cable car all the way to the top of the mountain and then we can head to the easy slope so you can practice."
The ride in the cable car was beautiful. The snow covered pine trees passed by under us and there were still crisp snowflakes falling from the sky.Eventually we arrived and went to the "Bunny slope". It was about 20 meters long with a magic carpet taking you back to the top. There were mostly young kids practicing.
Jamie had a sceptical look on her face. "Do I really have to practice next to all these toddlers?" She said.
"Well this is the easiest slope, but I bet you are a fast learner so we can get to some proper slopes soon."
"Fine." She agreed and I told her how to put on her skis.
After she managed to put them on, which was quite a struggle, I showed her the basics and the first time she went down the small slope was way better than I expected."You were amazing." I praised her as we were standing on the magic carpet lift.
"That was fun." She smiled.
I was happy. She was enoying one of my biggest passions and we could spend some quality time together.
"Okay, how about we go down one more time and then go to the easiest proper slope?" I offered
Jamie agreed. Her second time was even better so I was sure she was ready.
We headed to a slope called "Beginners fun" and slowly started going down it. Jamie was doing great.
"Want to go a bit faster?" I askedShe agreed and sped up a little bit at first, but suddenly she started going super fast.
"SLOW DOWN!" I shouted "YOU'RE GONNA FALL!"
My shouting didn't have any effect. She kept going faster and faster. Until, all of a sudden, she came to a rapid stop.
She crashed into a pile of snow.
I heard a quiet grunt coming from her.
"Jamie!!" I yelled "Are you okay?"
I heard a quiet "Yes" escaping the pile of snow, but she still didn't move.
I skied over to her and started helping her get out of the pile.
"Thank you" She said, when she was standing up again. "I just kind of lost control."
"Are you hurt?" I questioned.
"My wrist is a little sore but I am fine. But I do think we should come back another day."
"Okay, let's get home and check your wrist." I answered
She gave me a reassuring look because she could tell I was worried. I kind of had to start laughing. I tried to hide it but it didn't work.
"I am so sorry" I giggled "But to be honest, that was the funnies thing I have ever seen."
"I can imagine." Jamie laughed.
We got down to the bottom of the slop and then took the cable car back down to the valley station. We returned all of our rented gear and drove home.
When we were home I took a look at Jamies wrist. It seemed like a bit of a strain, but it wasn't anything serious. I had treated a lot of aches and pains when I was still a teacher, so I had some experience with it.
"I am sorry I ruined our snow day." Jamie said.
"No, please don't be. It's not your fault you got hurt." I answered. "I will make some hot cocoa for us. I am sure it will make your wrist feel better as well."
"Thank you beautiful." Jamie replied.
Damn, I love her. Her compliments make me blush. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
I made the hot cocoa and put some extra marshmallows in it, which we normally don't do.
"Wow, that looks fancy." Jamie commented as I handed her the mug "I bet it is just as delicious as you are." She gave me a smirk.
Oh my god Jamie why are you doing this to me.
"Stoppp." I giggled. I couold feel my face blushing again.
"Why are you so red?" Jamie asked. She knew the answer.
I was done with her comments. "Shut up!" I joked
"Make me!" She replied
Holy shit
I leaned in towards her and connected our lips. My hands were feeling her perfect body and my tongue was exploring her mouth.
Jamie reached down to pull of my shirt. When she pulled it over my head, our lips had to part for a second. Jamie was smiling.
As soon as we could, our lips connected again. I pushed Jamie down onto the couch, so that she was now pinned under me.
She gasped when she landed on her back. She is usually the dominant one. Today was different though.
The night went on. We explored every part of each others body and were impossible to seperate. We were like magnets.
