Danis Perspective

It was a Sunday morning, a day we didn't have to open the store, so it was a day just for me and Jamie.

Usually we went on walks, watched a movie in the theatre, or just hung out together in our Pyjamas.

On that particular Sunday, I already knew that something was off.

I woke up to Jamie gently rubbing my shoulder, just like every morning.

But it was like she was rubbing someone else's shoulder. I felt like I was floating outside of myself and that someone else was inside of me.

„Good Morning Poppins" Jamie yawned.

„Morning" I replied.

Not even the kiss she gave me felt right. It felt like nothing. Her kisses usually make me feel like I'm on top of the world.

I rubbed my eyes, hoping that this was just my exhaustion or that I was just not fully awake yet.

„Are you alright?" Jamie asked. I could see her forehead wrinkle as she put on a worried look.

„Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired I guess..." I replied. I don't want to worry her.

"I will make us some coffee. Stay in bed I'll bring it to you. " Jamie announced. I smiled in reply.

I closed my eyes for a couple more minutes until Jamie came in with her coffee.

With every sip I took I could feel my body waking up more and more.  Jamie's Leg on mine and her head leaning against my shoulder finally felt right, like usual.

"I'm a lot more awake now. How about we make some breakfast?" I questioned Jamie. She nodded.

I got out of bed to start heading to the kitchen. On my way I quickly looked into the mirror, to check how bad the bags under my eyes were.

I expected to see my groggy face and messy hair, but instead I saw a faceless monster with dripping brown hair and a floor long gown.

Viola.

I dropped the coffee mug I was holding and fell to the ground.

I started sobbing uncontrollably. I felt lifeless. Jamie scurried to help me.

"Poppins! What's wrong?" she yelled "Are you hurt? You need to get out of the shards of the mug or you are going to cut yourself"

I couldn't feel that one of the pieces of the broken mug had already made me leg bleed. I didn't want to move.

Jamie pulled me up. I could barely stand on my feet and I was still sobbing. She continued to guide me back to the bed. She noticed that I was shivering, so she pulled the blanket over me.

I slowly managed to stop sobbing and calm down. Jamie guided my breathing and held my hand.

"I... saw... her." I quietly managed to express.

Jamie's face turned pale. I could see that she was worried, which was the thing I wanted to prevent.

"It's okay. We'll be okay. She isn't going to harm you" she tried to reassure me, but I knew that what she was telling me wasn't true.

"Maybe not now. But soon she is going to take me." I sobbed. My breathing sped up again.

"Look, we've talked about this." She sounded like my mom or a teacher " No one is going anywhere. One day at a time okay?"

I nodded. One day at a time.

"Are you hungry? I can make food. Also we need to clean up that wound you've got on your leg there." Jamie asked.

I nodded. I could feel my feelings coming back again. My stomach was growling and that wound on my leg was actually kind of hurting.

Jamie made pancakes with apples and cleaned up my wound.

After we ate, nearly everything felt normal again, except for the fact that I was now petrified of looking in the mirror.

"Do you mind if we cover the mirror in the bedroom?" I asked Jamie.

"Of course. We can cover the other ones as well" she assured.

Not the first time I had to cover all my mirrors....

The day went by quickly. We watched a movie and played a card game. Jamie's occasional kisses finally made me feel like they used to. I was on top of the world again.

I could feel her soft lips that had the perfect shape, as well as her hand on my waist.

Even though it was just for an hour that I couldn't feel anything. It felt like an eternity without her kisses.

Heyyy. I've been busy so this part is a little short but here you go.
Also I am sorry that it's so sad

Have a nice day ❣️
