(Y/N) (L/N), the 8th Progenitor, is Guren Ichinoses' childhood best friend, but when Guren met Mahiru, that's when he started to ignore (Y/N). This continued for a long time, but when the catastrophe happened, that's when Y/N was captured by Krul Tepes because she saw potential in him.

(Flashback)

(Your POV)

"Hey (Y/N)," There he is, Guren. God, my heart flutters every time he is near me! "Hey Guren! Wanna hang ou-" I was cut off by the one and only, Mahiru Hiragi, my sworn enemy. "Guren~, can we go on the date you promised me~?" She whined while walking and grabbing Gurens arm and glaring at me. 'This bi-' "Oh yeah, (Y/N) just finished talking so we can go now." Guren said and walked off, Mahiru gave me a bratty smirk to say 'he's mine, not yours'. That was the last time I saw him until now.

(End of Flashback)

"Come on (Y/N)~ at least say you love me back?" Horn whined, ever since I became a vampire, she has had a MASSIVE crush on me. "No Horn, I told you already. I'm not into girls AND I already like someone." I said bluntly, Horn just gave me a pouting face which made me cringe slightly. 'God get me out of here'.

"Alright, it's time to head out to the battlefield. Those humans are ready for their deaths," Ferid said, he gestured us to follow him out and we followed suit. As we were walking down the hall Ferid asked me the question I hated the most. "So, are you still going to reject Horns feelings for a... Human, (Y/N)?" Ferid asked with a sly smirk, Horn looked at me shocked when she heard the word 'human', and I couldn't blame her. "Ferid, shut up. I'm not into him anymore!" I snapped back, 'Or so I hope' I thought.

(Time Skip)

(On the Battlefield)

"Ferid, what are you doing?" I asked as he and I stood on a billboard while he looked at someone. "Oh nothing~, just saw an old friend of ours," Ferid slurred as if he was drunk, 'The hell is wrong with the vampire?!' I thought I swear he's either high or is a pedo ->-. I looked to where Ferid was looking at a few seconds ago and I froze and so did he.

It was Guren.
