Groaning Harry opened his eyes, right before he was blinded by a stream of light coming through the window. They had forgotten to close the curtains. Moving over he jumped, there was someone else here. Draco, the conversation from the previous night came back to him and he smiled. He didn't remember the last time he felt so comfortable talking to someone about his past, he was glad it was Draco.
"Morning"
Harry spoke gently, nudging his shoulder ever so slightly causing the blond to stir and open his eyes. Upon seeing Harry elbow holding him up with a grin on his face Draco smiled, well this certainly was a sight.
"Morning"
Harry yawned, "What time is it?"
"Shit, it's 7:30, we are gonna miss breakfast"
Quickly they both scrambled out of bed to get ready, the uniform was flying everywhere and curses were being sent as if coming from the devil himself, racing down the dorm stairs and speeding through the corridors they managed to make it to the great hall. Breathing a sigh of relief they walked in. All eyes were on them, they both walked over to the Gryffindor table where Hermione and Pansy were already sat eating breakfast. Harry noted that he hadn't seen Ron this morning or last night.
"Hey you two, had a wardrobe change?" Pansy laughed, the boys looked down to see Harry wearing Dracos tie and Draco wearing Harrys, blushing they switched,
"Oops, we were in a bit of a rush- late night"
Harry said, his cheeks still a firm shade of pink.
Hermione smiled "I wonder why' earning a hard look from Draco.
After breakfast, the four walked to the first lesson of the day Defence Against the Dark Arts, where Ron and Blasie were already waiting outside.
"Oi Ron, what's that on your neck- did you get a bug bite?" There was a strange red mark on Rons neck and
"oh.., OH my... You and... Blaise"
Harry looked between the two, Ron was sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck while Blaise had his hands around the smaller boys waist,
"Yeah, I don't really know when it started, but I'm happy"
He looked up at Blaise and smiled, Harry thought it cute.
"Well I'm happy for you two mate, can't believe I'm still single"
The group laughed and walked into the classroom while Pansy sang
"Not for long!" Giving Draco a meaningful look which he returned with a glare but blushed anyway.
Around five minutes later the new professor walked in. He was a sharp-looking man with a charcoal suit and dark grey beard and hair. His eyes were a dark shade of blue and he wore a look that said I know all your greatest secrets. His heeled shoes clacked on the stone floor as he walked and the class held their breath in anticipation.
He gave the class a warm smile and immediately everyone relaxed, but that soon vanished as his eyes landed on Draco sitting next to Harry.
"Hello class, my name is Professor Baxbury, I am your new Defence teacher. I used to be an Auror before retiring to teach. I know a lot of you will be rather experienced with the spells taught in this class," his eyes landed on Harry, Ron and Hermione, "and some of you won't be" He gave a sharp look to Draco.
This didn't go unnoticed by Harry who frowned, he wasn't getting a good feeling about this man. However, he turned back into the lesson to listen to Professor Baxbury.
"Now, today we will be learning about the Patronus charm, I will first choose someone to demonstrate, given the fact I believe most of you here know this spell due to some underground lessons" Once again he looked at Harry who was feeling more and more uneasy as he got to know the Professor.
