It's been over a week and Taylor is doing everything she can to stop herself from launching at Joe. It's a desperate move undoubtedly, but the result would be disastrous - everyone knows that. It's hard enough to hide a relationship, but it's worse when it can be counted as a rebound. And that's a risk she's not willing to take in a million years. Not with Joe, at least.
With that selfish thought, another one brews somewhere deep inside the cruel part of her mind. Even she has to admit, it's all kinds of bad. But stirring that pot further, Taylor realises she's already been painted as a serial-dater. Cried a bucket of tears, wrote a song on it, and won three Grammys. About time she finally lived up to that reputation.
Taylor looked at the text for a good thirteen minutes, contemplating the several outcomes. Centering herself one last time and taking a deep breath, she hit send.
