Chapter Seven

You cursed yourself for going to help them yet again, you pulled yourself from the bed and your leg ached a little.

The first thing you did was haul a cab and gave them the address, you got there and hoped they'd be there.

As you were walking up the ramp you could see Steve looking lips with Sharon, you heartbroke for the second time from the same guy and the same girl. "Wow, this looks cozy." You said as you walked up, Steve instantly let go of Sharon, Sam's mouth hung open. "Y/N, this isn't what it looks like." Steve said, Bucky watched as he saw his friend become the little kid from Brooklyn again.

"I'm done hearing you bullshit Steve. So fucking done." You said, you looked at Sharon who had a smirk on her face.

"You need to grab Y/N." Sam said to Bucky, "what why?" Bucky asked with a confused look on his face.

"I'm done with you as well." She said as she walked towards Steve and Sharon, she pulled her fist back and swung for Sharon but Steve grabbed her, she slide under his arm and hissed in pain.

Something in Bucky told him to listen to Sam and Bucky ran forward and grabbed onto Y/N.

Bucky grabbed me and stood his whole body in front of me as Steve stood in front of Sharon, Bucky looked unsure of himself. "CRAZY BITCH." Sharon shouted, you went to slide under Bucky's arm but he caught you before you could move, you were shocked as this worked on Steve every time, you caught the glint shining of his arm, "hey cool arm." You said with a little smile, "but if you'd excuse me." You said using another move that caught Steve of guard most times and again Bucky stopped you.

"Wow, not even your pal over there could stop them two moves i'm slightly impressed." You said with a small smirk, "thanks?" Bucky said with a confused look on his face.

"I'll take her." Steve said as he walked over, he grabbed the top of your arm and pulled you away. "What they hell are you doing here?" He asked, "oh right, I forgot your still bitter about the accords which apparently is my fault, so you lock lips with the first Carter you see. My apologies, continue." You said, "why are you acting like this?" Steve asked, "BECAUSE YOU BROKE ME HEART. AGAIN." You all but screamed at him, "I haven't spoken to you in over a month, and I still come here to help your best friend, I still risk my life every single god damn day! Do you know how many times I've tried to get them too over turn this damn decision? I was getting people on my side, and you know what they did? They sent me home so I couldn't do anything about it" You said shaking with anger, Steve just looked at you, "and you don't even know how to act do you Steve? Because AGAIN you see nothing wrong with locking lips with the same woman you told me not to worry about, again." You added, "and you don't care. Because in Steve's perfect world this doesn't fit in does it? Does she? Does she bow down to your every need? She speak like a pretty little girl and no swear words leave her mouth?" You said panting from no air being in your lungs, "your an absolute joke Steve, I can not believe I gave you a second chance." You said running your hands through your hair, again Steve just stood there dumbfounded.

"WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO HIM LIKE THAT?" Sharon shouted trying to get out of Sam's way. "Do I taste the same as last time sweetheart?" You said pushing Steve out of the way, Bucky then stood in the way, you looked up at him with a stern look but you swore you could see the faintest smirk on his face, "or what you not got that far yet? Jesus Christ, you didn't even wait for the sheets to dry did you? Remember he's your aunts ex boyfriend, a bit fucking strange don't you think?" You spat, you tried to walk forward but Bucky blocked you again.

"Jesus I like you Barnes, but you stop me from her once more and I'll punch you." You said panting again, the same look was still plastered over Bucky's face. "Right, have it your way." You said as you swung your fist, Bucky caught it and wrapped your arms around your front and held you against him.

Bucky let you go once Sharon drove away, Steve then walked up to you. "I'm going home Steve. I'm tired, I'm in pain and I could really do with a drink." You said looking exhausted, Steve went to pull you in for a hug but you stopped him, "goodbye Steve." You said walking away, "I hope she was worth it." You said.

Bucky, Steve, Wanda, Clint and Scott watched you leave, Sam ran after you and gave you a hug. "Be safe." He said as he kissed you on the head, "Always am." You said as you left without looking back.
