Chapter Ten

When you arrived you were stunned by the beautiful country, "Princess, your country, it's beautiful. It's beyond anything I've ever seen before." You said, Shuri looked at you with a smile, "I know. I'm glad you like it." She said, "I can see why you've had it hidden from the world." You smirked back, "how did you know?"  She asked, "you don't become the most fierce, lawyer in New York that even Tony Stark hates seeing. I have known about your country for many years, Ulysses Klaue personally asked me to represent him against your father, I read into the case and politely declined, I met with your fathers lawyer's and gave them information, I knew I shouldn't have but the rest of the world didn't need to know about you until you were ready to show." You said, "Father spoke about the fearless lawyer for many years, I'm glad I finally got to meet her." She said, "Your welcome." You smiled.

T'Challa came to greet you, "Your majesty." You said smiling, "thank you for allowing me to see your beautiful country." You added. "You are welcome." He said standing with warriors around him. "She is also the fearless lawyer father used to talk about." Shuri added, T'Challa's eyes went wide, "Father idolised you. He wanted the rest of the world too be like you." T'Challa said, "I am very sorry for his passing. If there is anything I can do, please all you have to do is ask." You said, "I do not plan on staying long, just until I am off S.H.E.I.L.D's list. But while I am here, I can am at your disposal." You added, "Thank you. I will have someone show you your room and then we will discuss your future once you've settled in." T'Challa said.

One of the warriors lead you too your room, it was bigger than your apartment, you stood in the door way gazing around. "This is too much. I can't ask this of the king for something like this." You said, "Please, this is the kings request. If you need anything else please don't hesitate to call." She said. You stood there in awe, this was just as beautiful inside as it was outside, you walked around the room and stopped at the bookcase, your eyes scanned over the biggest book there, it was a book on Wakanda and it's history, you scanned over the pages and finished the book in two hours. There was a soft knock at the door, you got up and opened it.

"Your Majesty." You said nodding, he nodded back and took a step in "Miss Y/L/N." He said looking over at the book you had read, "I see you've chosen the best book on the case." He said with a smile, "if I am going to be staying here I must learn about your culture and your history. I must say, it was a very good read." You said smiling, his eyes went wide again, "you have already finished it?" He questioned, you nodded, "you don't finish Yale University at the age of 21 without being able to read 20,000 words a minute with an eidetic memory." You smirked, "Wow, I hope you don't mind me asking. How old are you?" He asked, "I am 25, and took the lawyer world by storm by the age 23." You smiled even brighter, "I don't mean to gloat but I am very proud of it." You added.

T'Challa invited you for a private dinner, "I wanted to formally ask you if you would consider teaching my lawyers a thing or two? They've gone a little down hill since Fathers passing and they could use someone of your caliber too toughen them up." He asked, "on one condition?" You asked, he nodded. "Can I train with your warriors?" You asked, "I don't see why not." He said with a smile. You spent the rest of the evening making small talk and laughing, when the evening finished up he walked you too your bedroom, "I can see why Mr Rogers likes you." T'Challa said, your heart skipped a beat, "Mr Rogers broke my heart twice." You said quite sternly, "I didn't know, I am so sorry." He said, "That's okay. I know I shouldn't have said anything but I just need you too know." You said with a smile. "Good night Y/N." He said, "Goodnight your majesty." You said before getting ready for bed.

The next month consisted of you teaching the Wakandan Lawyers about American Lawyers and the system and you training with Okoye & Nakia. You often trained with Shuri and learnt how to use her repulsors. You and Shuri had become close, you taught her a lot about American living, America and she taught you more about Wakanda and some of her inventions.
