As you were packing your things up you heard a jet coming down, you looked out the window and noticed it was a S.H.E.I.L.D. jet, had they really found you? You continued to stare and saw T'Challa walk towards them, you knew he'd never endanger your life.
As you got outside you saw Sam, Steve, Natasha, Rhodney, Bruce, Wanda & Vision. Sam noticed you the same time Steve did. Steve's mouth hung open. "SAM." You shouted as you ran towards him, you jumped on him:

Natasha called you as you jumped and you turned your head to look at her, "spider." You said as she walked up to hug you as well.
Bucky walked up to Steve, they hugged. "How long has she been here?" Steve asked, "Miss, L/N, has been here for around four months, she was on S.H.E.I.L.D'S hit list, I sent one of our allies to pick her up. She has been an asset to Mr Barnes since he came out." T'Challa said.
You went to stand beside Bucky, he saw you look up at Steve, "Hey Captain." You said standing awkwardly, just as Steve was about to say hello you turned to Bucky, "Buck your arm looks amazing, looks better than your other one don't you think?" You said smiling, Bucky looked down at you smiling, "black and gold was her idea." Shuri said, "Well in that case, it looks terrible." Bucky said laughing, you pouted, "I'm joking doll, thanks." He said smiling.
Steve watched the chemistry between his ex love and his best friend, he hadn't seen Bucky smile like that in such a long time, his heart hurt, he finally came to the realisation that he'd lost his best girl to his best friend, and he couldn't blame either one of them. He looked on with a sad smile.
Steve explained to T'Challa what was potentially coming, T'Challa began preparing his army. "Your majesty. I would like to fight. I want to protect this beautiful country as well." You added, Steve, Sam & Bucky all looked at you. "No." Steve and Sam said at the same time, you looked at Bucky, he shook his head. "Please. I want to help. I haven't been training this hard for nothing. This has been my home for almost four months. I can't just sit by while people I have grown to love her injured or even worse, die." You said, Steve looked back to Bucky, "I can't risk having you out there Y/N. I can't watch you and keep the enemy at bay." Steve said.
You were shocked and hurt, maybe more hurt then when you saw him locking lips with Sharon. "Hey Steve, you don't need to be rude." Bucky said grabbing his arm with his left arm, it was some sort of alpha stare down. "You know what, to hell with you Steve." You said bashing his shoulder as you walked past, Bucky grabbed your arm with his right hand. "I am in S.H.E.I.L.D'S most wanted because of you. I have no job because of you. Jesus Steve even after all the good damn heart break I still helped you out. I'm going to fight, and if you find me dead just know I was doing something worth doing." You said.
Pain ran through Steve and Bucky's heart, both for different reasons. Steve's was built up over time and Bucky'S was picturing you dead. "She can stay with me." Bucky spoke up, you looked up at him and thanked him with your eyes. "See, at least someone has faith in me." You said leaving the room, Okoye followed you and took you to the armery and battle room to get you suited up.
