I woke up cold as hell pretty much ready to die then I remembered something before my dad died he gave he a box with a key on it nd I hid it from everyone when I turned 15 my mom gave me a necklace with a key on it nd I never put 2 and 2 together til now so I got up went to a gas station washed up nd put on the only other outfit I had for now

When I got done I went to my old elementary school teacher Ms.Asher nd asked if she still had the box and she did she handed it to me I thanked her and left now ik your wondering why I dont just stay with well she runs a foster home now nd if I go there there will be investigations and all that then they'll find out who killed my dad and I'd rather not start family wars. When I opened the box there was $300 inside and a letter

"If your reading this baby girl it means daddy is gone and I'm so sorry that I left you in this world alone  with her. Follow these instructions carefully go to New York go to (random address) tell them your looking for Melvin or Angela Harris that's your uncle and Aunty they will protect you I promise and use the money wisely Bleu- Love papa"

All I could do was cry bc he knew one day everything would fall apart and thanks to him I now have $345 that's more than enough...Thank you papa(obviously her nickname for her dad) after I closed it & put the money in my wallet I headed to the train station & hot my ticket the train leaves at 9:30 and it's only 8:40 so I went to the gas station that's about 5 minutes away bout $30 worth of snacks and drinks got some breakfast then headed back to the station down to $305

The next day 9:30am

The train ride was silent there wasn't anybody on really except me and this woman with her kids but I'm in New York now when I got off the train I googled the address my dad told me but nothing came up so I googled the street its on... its 5 minutes away I can walk when I got there I asked around no one knew where it was I was ready to give up until I saw a gas station i went inside and asked the owner if he knew he told me it didn't exist anymore i told him who I was looking for and he called someone he told me to step away so I wouldn't hear the conversation after he hung up he told me to come by daily and he would have a fresh bacon egg and cheese with orange juice just for me until the person he called came I asked him if he knew where I could get a metro card for cheap nd he told me he sells them half price so I got 1 for only $15 after that I asked him his name and he said it was Jamison  but everyone calls him Jay then I left I found an abandoned alley way ik not really the safest place but I have my paper spray and my knife and my taser I'm fine I had to fine somewhere to go for the time being since its light out and I can't hide in the alley way so I went walking around I asked jay if I could leave my stuff there until tonight and he said that was fine
