October 2016 (about two months later)

I woke up around 1pm, tired, thirsty, a tiny bit hungover and alone.

Leaving the bed seemed like the very last thing I'd want to do, but I knew I had to. I put some sweatpants on, a nirvana t-shirt and stepped out of my room, bumping into my mom as I was doing so.

"Morning honey" She beamed at me, clean clothes on her hands.

"Morning mom"

"Had a good night, it seems" She said playfully.

"I'm not sure it was worth it anymore" I said while rubbing my forehead in an attempt to calm the headache, mom chuckled at my joke and resumed her way to her and dad's bedroom while turning her head back at me and informing me.

"B's already up, kitchen!"

I made my way down the stairs and to the kitchen, stopping at the door. She was in front of the counter, making coffee. She hadn't heard me, so I sneaked up on her and put my hands on her hips while I planted a kiss behind her ear.

"Oh my!" She jumped. "You startled me! You idiot" She pushed me away softly.

"Morning" I said still with my face in her hair.

"Get off!!! Someone's gonna see" I interrupted her by turning her around and placing a little peck on her lips. "Jeez, stop it!"

"Fine, chill" I squeezed her hip before letting her go completely and she rolled her eyes at me. I just couldn't help it, I really couldn't. Our relationship's dynamic had changed a lot in the last two months, in case it wasn't obvious, and I just could not keep my hands off of her, and didn't care much about it honestly.

"Good morning" She said, finally smiling at me. "Too hungover?"

"Yes, very. You?"

"Yes" She pouted. "But coffee" She gestured towards the coffee, all excited, making me laugh.

"Can we please take the coffee upstairs?" I looked at her with pleading eyes. I really needed to get her alone.

"No" She said bluntly.

"Fine, then have breakfast alone" I took a mug, poured the coffee and then headed to my room.

"Ugh, so fucking annoying" She muttered while I walked out.

"I heard that!" I Shouted from the stairs. A few seconds later I heard her footsteps on the stairs, behind me.

I waited for her at my room's door, she just walked past me and into my room without even glancing at me. Bickering had always been our thing, but now we were bickering a lot more. Though it was quite fun, and now it often ended up in a very different kind of fun.

She sat on my bed and took the tv remote control. I left the door ajar, we decided to keep it open during the day, since it would look weird if we closed it. My family had known her almost since I met her, and they knew how close our friendship was, so in my family's eyes it was normal for us to be together in my room or hers, but closing the door wouldn't look so normal, because why would we close it if we were just hanging?

I sat beside her, left my coffee at the nightstand and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, softly, hoping that the feeling of my fingers on her skin would affect her somehow.
