After a long tiring journey, you stretched your arms and legs jumping on the bed, soon Vernon laid beside you cracking his fingers and doing some arm rotation.  

Vernon ARGH! you whined, your body completely exhausted.

WHAT? he whined back, throwing his hand over you, pulling you in a hug.

hmm I'm tired...! you complained, so I am, Vernon agreed.

Very soon you found yourself sleeping in each other's arms.

The next morning, bird chirps greeted you. A smile waved down Vernon's handsome face seeing you move and groan, morning sleeping beauty!

Morning handsome, you gave him a cute smile and tried opening your heavy eyelids, I am still so tired!

Come on, now get up, get fresh eat and let's go! your man happily jumped off the bed, pulling you along.

For sure it was a very tiring day for you as your sleep wasn't completed. Vernon seemed to be extremely energetic.

You were in a pair of bright yellow shirt and black shorts, Vernon was in his sleeveless hoodie and denim. 

Wandering around the park like little kittens, your eyes caught a guy at a distance. Focusing upon, it turned out to be Hong Joshua, your childhood buddy. 

Joshua! From a far distance you waved at him and when he noticed you, Joshua did the same.

Vernon inhaled sharply. He never liked Joshua as a person.

Hey Alice! He ran up to you and carelessly swung his arms around your shoulder, earning a cough from Vernon, what's up gurl?

Nothing much... We are just here to enjoy our vacation! You smiled and pointed to Vernon, and then yourself indicating that you both are related.

Oh woah~ Hi dude! He huged Vernon, which Vernon replied with ignorance and a grumpy face.

Vernon! You pinched his arms in anger. Joshua noticed that movement and laughed,

It's okay Alice, Vernon doesn't seems to like me ever since... Joshua trailed off. You acknowledged his words and spoke up.

No Joshua! He is just a bit sleepy, nothing else!

Your voice was sharp enough to say Vernon that you were angry on him. And how you be not? Joshua is your best friend since elementary.

Hey, my apartment is nearby, wanna grab some coffee? Although Vernon didn't wanted to but he agreed when you did.

Upon reaching his flat, your senses sensed that Joshua kept his rooms and surroundings very clean...nice

Alice, you remembered my love for your cookies? I want to have it, please? Make it? Please?

Seeing Joshua beg for your cookies, you agreed and went in the kitchen, with both the boys following you like a bodyguard.

Where is the flour? You asked and was replied with a point on the top most shelf.

I'll get it, Joshua climbed a chair and pulled the flour but the cap went loose and whole lot of flour mixed with your clothes...

I'm sorry Alice, I didn't meant to- he burst out laughing seeing your face, I am sorry but this incident reminded me of that day when I spilled milk on you... haha! You look so beautiful... pfft-

You recalled that day too.

You both were laughing, you sprinkled some flour on him and he did the same, both of you end up in a flour fight.

Vernon definitely felt angry, and he pulled you out of the house.

Vernon, what's wrong? you innocently asked, keeping your hands on his chest to calm him down. Vernon took your hand, and gently runs his lips on it.

I don't like it! Joshua definitely likes you and he was flirting with you and you don't even seem to care! he gritted his teeth.

Vernon, I only love you... Joshua is just a friend..

WOW~ Really? he frowned.

yes, I really don't care about Joshua, but I do for you... you cupped his face, and he sank his face in your palm.

Alice ah... I just don't like the way you are so frank with any guy you see!
