Author Statement

Hello all! Due to recent events that have transpired in the Harry Potter community, I thought it was best for me to release a statement so you all know where I stand. As of right now, this is the only statement that will be released, so please read all of it.

First off, I want to make it perfectly clear that I do not support J.K. Rowling (JKR) or her transphobic views. Even though all Harry Potter characters and rights are reserved to her, JKR has said, posted, tweeted, and wrote very offensive things blatantly showing her unsupportive views of the transgender community. I cannot stand behind an author that does so.

Secondly, we all know that Tom Felton plays Draco Malfoy. This story is reflective of the character Draco, not Tom. Many Harry Potter fans have made it clear that until he makes a new public statement regarding his views about supporting the transgender community, they cannot stan him. I want to make it clear that this story in no way will portray Draco as being Tom. Draco will be Draco.

Thirdly, this is a safe space for all Harry Potter fans, regardless of their sexualities or/and ethnicities. If you are black, white, gay, straight, transgender, Muslim, etc I want to support each and every one of you. Anyone commenting offensive things in any manner will be barred from this page immediately.

Many fanfiction authors that were writing or have written Draco Malfoy content have unpublished their stories. I have decided to continue writing this story to try to provide a safe space to those missing when the Harry Potter community was unproblematic. I am very excited for the remainder of this story. I cannot wait to share it with all of you. If any of you find the decision for me to continue writing this story to be offensive, please don't hesitate to send me a message. Sending virtual hugs and support to all.
