Nate Jacobs was thought to be the villain in everyone's stories. Including his own. Ever since he was a kid he felt corrupted. Like there was a part of him that didn't belong. A part of him that clenched to his soul and often took control of his mind, and even of his body.

This is not a fic about an abusive relationship. Nate's character still has some of the same issues as he does on the show. But it's assumed from the very beginning that he's not a psychopath.
The story will be mainly focused on the interactions between Bee and Nate. That's why some of the events that happen in the show won't be narrated again unless they've been changed.
