Chapter 2 - Allison

Today is my first day in the new company that hired me because they saw Roderick Resort in Finland. There were 3 companies that approached me but this one gave me the best deal.

Their office is in the west of NYC. Around half an hour from my apartment. I hope that I will have a great atmosphere here. I was working in the biggest interior in Finland before I came here and I was lucky enough that Drew Roderick chose my design for their igloo.

The building of my new company, Decateau Design, is unique and modern. Hmm nice! I walk in and go to the HR.

After half an hour of orientation, finally I can go to my table. I put my stuff and go to my boss, not really my boss, but the manager in my division. Madison Tate, a beautiful woman in her 40s maybe. Her hair is sleek platinum, her face has a hint of superiority.

"Good morning Ms. Tate, I'm Allison Wheeler"

She looks at me from head to toe. I'm wearing my power suit. My blazer and skirt in light blue sky, with my inner that has an accent in the collar.

"Hi Allison. I heard a lot about you from Scott"

Scott Decateau is the boss in the company. He approached me by phone, I never met him but from the way he is dealing with me, he is a fair boss (I think).

"I hope all is great"

"Yes, especially with Hall media just features the Roderick igloo in their latest traveling page, and they put your name in the credit"

Oh wow... I didn't know that.

I smile at her.

"Okay.. I have this new project. You might want to see the requirements. Come back to me if you have any questions. Later in the noon we will have lunch together with the team"

"Okay. Thanks Ms. Tate"

"Madison. You can call me Madison" she smiles a bit.

"Thank you Madison" I walk back to my table.

"Allison Wheeler?" I look up, a young girl, maybe an intern in front of my desk.

"Yes it's me. What can I help you with?"

"Mr. Decateau is looking for you. Can you come to his office now?"

"Okay" I follow the girl to Mr. Decateau's office. She helps me open the door. I say my thank you and get into the office.

"Good morning Mr. Decateau" I smile. He looks up and smiles warmly. He stands up and point to the couch while walking to there "please sit down Allison"

I sit on the three seater couch while my boss sit on the one seater couch. Scott Decateau is in his mid 30 I think. With his dark brown hair and brown eyes. He looks handsome, for sure lots of coworkers here lusting over him.

"So welcome to Decateau design." He smiles. I smile too. "Thank you Mr. Decateau. I'll give my best to this company"

"Please, call me Scott. I feel like I'm older by 5 years if someone called me Mr" he chuckles.

I chuckle softly "I'm sorry Scott"

He shakes his head "so, I hope we can achieve some project together. I have a few projects that I think suits you. I already sent it to Madison early. You can check with the project and later you can come to Madison for the details."

I nod "Madison already gave me some files but I haven't checked it."

He nods and gives his hand. "I hope we can work together very well Allison" did his words innuendo something else? Or is it just my imagination?
