The next month went well. Allison officially resigned from Decateau. Ha ha goodbye Scott Decateau. You can't drool over my woman anymore!

She already gets a few clients. Bryce Connolly said he wants her to handle the igloo despite her resignation from Decateau. Amy Lockwood for her baby's room. Carson Cardin, dad's friend, for his new family house in Long Island, credit to my dad. And Meredith Hall asking Allison to re-decorate a room in Hall property for their shooting. She is making a film with her husband, Christian Hall and my brother, Dean.

And Meredith keeps posting the picture from Alli's work. Since then a lot of people are contacting Alli for her service. After all, my woman is talented. But she hasn't agreed with my proposal to invest money in her company.

I meant it when I say it's partly because I want to invest in a good company. Allison is talented. It's not easy to impress me and it's not easy to impress my clients. Most of them are old money families. They've seen the ridiculous expensive design from time to time. So when they said my office looks nice, I know they meant it.

My relationship with dad warmed up a bit because I realized dad helped Alli a lot. Not just with her business but also with grandma. I realized he keeps giving Alli an opportunity to get grandma's approval and of course my woman did everything in flying colors. I dare to say grandma Fiona likes Allison too now.

Tomorrow Allison and I will go to Finland. It's an Easter holiday. We will be back to NY on Sunday. Lys also come with us. I just finished packing my stuff. I go to my briefcase and take out a black velvet box. I opened it. Inside is a rare blue garnet ring. Finally the jeweler could find a blue garnet ring in 9 carat, princess cut. I want to buy 19 carats, but the jeweler almost got a heart attack and said it's possible to get that. So 9 carat in 1 stone. 1 and 9. Allison's favorite number. And smaller diamonds surrounded it. 19 in total. Platinum band, with the inside written. AZ.

I will ask Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler permission and later on Alli's birthday, April 19th I will ask her to marry me. I smile to myself and put the box back in my briefcase.

"Who are you keep texting with, Lys?" Allison asks her sister. We are sitting in my jet flying back to Finland. Lys jumps a bit. "No one"

I raise an eyebrow at her.

"Shoo! You two love birds. Continue with your make out session" she says, leaning farther from us.

I chuckle and Allison rolls her eyes.

"Hey Z, you remember back then I wore the bunny costume once for the kids' party?" My girlfriend giggles at me.

I nod and whisper to her "I do also remember when you wore another bunny costume at night in my room."

Her face flush and she pushes me "jeez you still remember that!"

"How can I forget. You were fucking sexy, my wet dream. Did you bring that costume? Maybe we can revisit what we did back then" I whisper to her huskily.

Allison laughs "no wayy!!"

Despite our relationship, this holiday we will stay separately in our parents' house. Which is not far since we are neighbors. Fred paid for mom's mortgage. So the house is in her name now. And hell I didn't know mom still had some mortgage. What a stupid son!

"By the way Grandma invites us to come to Goldreich mansion." I say.

Allison nods and giggles "I couldn't believe your grandma approved of me. Did you know last time she took me to the garden. I thought she wanted to have another talk. Turned out she just showed me a corner with lots of small blue flowers. She said she is planting cornflowers there. It will bloom prettily when summer comes." Allison's eyes twinkling happily.
