The date went perfect, literally perfect. And I know very well that in a day Zac already made me fall in love with him... again.

Zac walked me to my unit. He said he wants to say hi to my lil sister.

"Lys, look who is here" I call my sister.

She comes out with her messy look. Messy from work look I might add.

"Welcome home Al. Hi bro!" She goes back to her room.

I laugh. "Not even you can bring a smile to her" I look at Zac. Back then Zac always knew how to make Lys happy. When she was nursing her broken heart, or when she failed on a test, or even when mom mad at her for her silly things.

"What happened to her?" Zac chuckles.

I shrug. "Somehow her boss managed to give her a lot of extra works on weekends"

"Yes my boss! Your BFF, Zac!" Lys shouts from her room.

I roll my eyes while Zac laughs.

Lys comes out with a big file now and puts it on the table. She opens it. "I made the box design for the latest product, and he asked me to change. I changed. Really I changed to the new one" she flips the file. "This one. And he said no, asked me to change to another. I changed again." She flips another page. "And when he saw this he said, he likes the first one and asked me to make the first one, ONE MORE TIME. So I did since I'm a great worker." She flips another page "the exact same design with the first one. And now... now he asked me to COLLABORATE between the first and the second design. Fuck you Mr. Walker! I hate you!"

"Jesus Lys, calm down" I say.

"I can't Al. I swear to God if he wasn't Zac's friend I already put cyanide in his coffee and I will come to his gravestone and put all my designs on it!"

Zac and I laugh so hard. My sister is always the hilarious one.

"Come on Lys, you said he is handsome" I try to soothe her temper.

"Useless! Handsome sexy hot yes, but an asshole boss! I swear to God I'm going to run my Tesla on him!"

"You have a Tesla?" Zac asks.

"No. Not yet. But one day, yes. And that will be the end of Dave Walker's life" she swears like she is in the play.

Zac's phone rings. Zac looks at it "speak of the devil." He picks the phone "yes Dave?"

I couldn't hear what this Dave person said. But later Zac laughs and ends the phone, looking at my sister.

"What?" Lys asks.

"Um... Lys" Zac tries his best to not laugh. "Dave asks you to mute your Zoom meeting before you plan how to murder him next time"

Lys' eyes almost pop out. "Sweet Jesus!" She runs to her room.

Zac laughs so hard.

"This Dave boss heard every word?"

Zac is still laughing. He nods, wiping his teary eyes.

I laugh now "oh my God, Lys!"

After a few more minutes listening to Lys apologized to her boss. I send Zac to the door. "Bye Z. Thanks for today" I smile softly at him.

"Thank you A. I hope you had fun today"

"I did. I really enjoyed it" I grin.

He smiles and leans to me. I swallow. Is he going to kiss me?
