My mind didn't stop spinning, a these ideas, all these thoughts spun in my head. Why didn't I kiss him? What are you going to tell Roger? Would things change between Isaac and me?… I snapped out of it and I was shocked that I was already parked in front of my house. The thought of not remembering how I got home made me shiver. I gnawed at my nails, a habit I had whenever I was nervous or worried. I unlocked the door, and found that Clarissa wasn't home. I assumed she was with Jonas, but then again they had gotten into a major argument.

The worst part of going to see mom, besides the fact of having to see Gerardo, was packing up. I loved wearing shorts and tank tops but going over there I had to make sure every body part was covered. I rummaged through my drawers and found three cozy sweaters (all black of course) some gray sweatpants and my Vans. I slammed my persian blue suitcase on my aero blue bed and stuffed it all inside. I even packed a toothbrush and deodorant just in the unfortunate case of having to stay there for than one night.

The next day I was already leaving for Rockwall, a small town with a beautiful harbor and a hell of a lot of clothes stores. My mom lived in a neighborhood set aside for all the immigrants. The neighborhood was called Rockwall Estates, but to its residents it was put the name "Happy Crappy". It was a three-hour drive, but I arrived at 1:40 pm. I looked at the worn, tan colored trailer, a small yet beautiful garden with tulips, rose bushes, and elephant ears, violet and green plants shaped like a heart. I didn't see my mom's red chevorlet, or Gerardo's car either. I got out and knocked on the door, maybe Gerardo took my moms car or something. No answer. I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"Hello Mrs.Sunshine."

I turned around and felt happy to see that familiar face. The blonde hair, the freckles on the face, the emerald eyes. I ran to him and hugged that scrawny little white boy.

"Tino!!!"

Valentino was my childhood friend, actually my only friend up until highschool. He moved during ninth grade then after that I never heard from him. Seeing him right now was a shock and pleasurable surprise.

"Haven't heard from you in a while Chessie."

Chessie was the nickname he gave me when we were four years old, since he couldn't say Chelsea correctly. The name stuck with me until high school.

"Haven't seen you either, last time I did I was taller than you."

He laughed and gave me a soft punch in the shoulder.

"Those were the old days, now I'm a whole new guy."

I smirked and laughed at that comment.

"Oh really? I bet you still sleep with stuffed animals."

His usual pale face turned red.

"Holy shit you still do don't you?"

He chuckled and nodded his head back in forth.

"Some things just don't change."

I smiled at him sweetly, then the question came to mind.

"Hey why did you move all of a sudden? I never heard from you after high school, not even a goodbye."

He sighed heavily and looked at me the same way he used to when he was worried when we were kids.

"My parents got divorced all of a sudden, they told me to pack my bags and after that I went to live with my dad. I was too shocked and angry to talk to anyone so I left. But now I'm back here."
