The next week was spent with the Royal Pack investigating and preparing to raid the Royal Blood Pack. However, Dana was focused on other things, at the moment. After some talking, Alex decided she would officially move into the Royal Pack House. Today she was bringing the last of her stuff to their room and Dana making sure everything was organized to make room for Alex's belongings. As she placed the final touches on clearing the dresser drawers, the door opened to admit Reina and Alex.

Reina carried only her car keys and tray with coffee cups from a local cafe on it. Meanwhile, Alex held a suitcase in her left hand and her backpack slung over her shoulder. Dana frowned.

"Is that everything?"

Alex shrugged sheepishly, "Um, yeah. I don't really have anything else. If its too much..."

Dana didn't seem to hear as she was looking intensely at between the dresser and the closet before clapping her hands together interrupting Alex. "I cleared out space in the closet and the dresser for stuff, but I don't think your stuff will them up." Alex opened her mouth to speak but Dana turned to her grinning. "Which means that we'll have to buy you a bunch of stuff!"

"You...you don't have to do that..." Alex stammered confusedly but Reina just chuckled.

"I wouldn't argue with her. When Dana feels like treating her mates. She treats her mates. It's like the one sub stereotype she doesn't fall into."

Dana rolled her eyes and threw the nearest object at her Alpha mate. Which happened to be a pair of her underwear. Reina just caught them and chuckled, bringing them up to her nose.

"Is that a promise for later?"

Smiling at their antics and dropping her stuff on the bed, Alex unzipped her suitcase. While Dana strolled up to Reina and smirked suggestively at her.

"That'll depend on if you brought me tea," she teased. Smirking Reina handed her one of the Styrofoam cups with a tea bag resting on top of it.

The next few minutes were spent unpacking Alex's bag. Finally, Alex placed the empty suitcase on a top shelf in the closet and turned to her backpack where she found Dana pulling out a white baby blanket.

"Please be careful with that," Alex said hurriedly. Approach her mate and taking the blanket, carefully refolding it. Both her mates gave her confused looks. Alex blushed shyly stroking the blanket.

"I was found as a baby near a hiking trail deep in the woods. A dead wolf was found nearby. The assumption was that the wolf took me from my family. Anyway, the only clue to my identity was this blanket that I was swaddled in. It has my name and birthday on it." Alex looked at the blanket with a mixture of sadness and love. Reina gently stepped forward and quietly asked for permission to look at the blanket. Mutely, Alex allowed her mate to take it. Carefully unfolding it, Reina examined the cloth.

It was covered in cartoon wolves, stitched in cursive on the upper left corner was Alexandra and underneath that was April 4. No year after. However, what caught Reina attention the most of that in the upper right corner was a depiction a wolf claw. A silver wolf claw.

Dana gasped softly. "Does that mean what I think it does?"

Alex frowned, "what?"

"Most werewolf baby blankets have an emblem on them depicting origin of the pack that they're from. It's a holdover from the Great Strife when the packs were constantly at war with each other before the Triumvirate was officially formed." Reina explained. Alex looked briefly confused before realization dawned on her face.

"Does that mean that...that I'm from the Silver Claw Pack?" She whispered sitting down on the bed.

"I think so," Dana murmured sitting down next to her and placing an arm around her shoulders. Reina started to refold the blanket before noticing a bit of roughness below the Silver Claw emblem.

"What happened here?" Reina asked rubbing her thumb across the rough patch, noting that it appeared as though the blanket had been mended directly underneath the emblem.

Alex shrugged uncertainly, "I think it got ripped when I was baby. One of my first foster families probably mended it. Why?" Reina handed her the blanket back.

"I'll be right back," she said before leaving. Dana frowned at the closed door before scooting closer to Alex.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah. I guess. I should've maybe connected the dots sooner, but I guess it just never occurred to me that I could ever have a chance of figuring of what really happened to my family. I just kinda gave up on looking. Now I know. I was member of the Silver Claw pack and my family and pack is gone. So is probably any chance of knowing my real last name or the answers to any of my questions."

Dana didn't say anything just continuing to hold her mate as she quietly fiddled with the blanket in her hands. They both started when the door slammed open. Alex leapt to her feet and pushed Dana behind her while simultaneously pulling out the black block that contained her weapon. Said block quickly unfolded in a square bladed sword.

"I found it!" Reina declared. Then the paused at the sight of Alex with her sword out. "Hot." She grinned, pointing at her warrior mate. Alex just spun the blade in the circle with it transforming back into the rectangular block.

"Found what?" Dana asked placing a hand on her racing chest.

"My baby blanket!" Reina cried holding the square cloth. It was decorated with little crowns. In the upper left corner similar to Alex's was Reina's first name and birthday. In the case the date was December 8. On the opposite corner was an emblem of a crown inside of a full moon, however underneath it, in cursive, was Alpha.

"And you grabbed it, why?" Alex asked.

"Cuz, in the case of Alphas, our baby blankets say our rank underneath the emblem. I think the reason why your blanket was torn and mended where it was; is because you're daughter of the alpha of the Silver Claw pack." Reina explained excitedly. "And I looked it up on my way back. The last name of the Silver Claw alpha family is Rhodes."

"That means you are Alexandra Rhodes!" Dana exclaimed excitedly embracing her stunned mate with Reina quickly joining in.
