It was close to midnight when Alex woke up, she and her mates had spent several more hours together making love. Alex groaned softly, feeling deliciously sore. She almost fell back asleep before remembering why she woke up. Untangling herself from her sleeping mates, Alex got up and pulled on her pants before slipping out of the room. After only getting turned around once, Alex managed to find the office of the Alpha Queen.

Slipping inside the dark room, Alex made her way to Maria's filing cabinet. She rifled through the folders detailing the various packs under the domain of the Royal Triumvirate. Not finding what she was looking for she closed the drawer. Alex frowned looking around the office.

"Where oh where," she muttered softly.

"Can I help you?"

Alex jumped at the voice and turned toward the door where Queen Maria was watching her.

"Oh! Uh, your majesty I was just looking for..." Alex hesitated, looking around trying to grasp for a convincing lie.

"Alex," Maria growled firmly, causing the younger woman to tense. The silence sat for a moment before the queen continued, "I thought I told you to call Maria. Now what can I help you with?" Alex frowned slightly before taking a deep breath and speaking.

"Can you tell me about the Royal Blood Pack?"

Maria frowned in confusion, "there is no such thing as the Royal Blood Pack. The official name for this pack is just the Royal Pack or the Royal Triumvirate colloquially. But we are not called the Royal Blood Pack."

"Really?" Alex said lifting her eyebrow suspiciously. "You're telling me there is no pack associated with the Triumvirate named the Royal Blood Pack?"

"Yes. Why? Have you encountered a pack using that name?" Maria looked concerned. All packs needed to register with the Royal Triumvirate to be considered an official pack.

Alex hesitated, "no, Maria. I think I had just, um, heard something somewhere...I guess I should, uh, head back to bed." Maria frowned unconvinced but stepped aside to allow Alex to leave.

"Alex, if you ever have any questions or just want to talk my door is also open," she said softly. Alex just nodded in reply and quickly fled the room.

A few hours later, Alex returned downstairs. This time with her mates as they headed to breakfast. As they entered the empty kitchen, Alex made her way to the fridge and pulled out a water bottle.

Reina frowned, "I wonder where Sally is."

"Sally?" Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.

"The chef," Dana explained as she began preparing the kettle. Reina groaned softly rolling her head along her shoulders.

"Ugh I'm so glad we don't have school today. I'm so sore," she muttered glaring playfully at Alex, who just shrugged.

"You're the one that wanted more," she chuckled. "I was just giving my mate what she wanted." Reina scoffed in response and gave her playful smack on the shoulder.

"What should we do today?" Dana asked. In the distance they could hear a door open and shut and the sound of footsteps approaching.

"Are you sure this is ok, Nick? I don't want to trespass or anything...Alex! What are you doing here?!" Jason's voice was full of shock as he met the wide eyes of his foster sister.

"What are you doing here?" Alex retorted stunned. Then her face changed into a smirk as she saw a mate mark tattoo on Jason's neck. It depicted a sword overlaying a shield. On his heels was Nick, sporting the same mark on his neck.

"Nick wanted me to meet his friends," suddenly Jason gasped. "Are you mated to a werewolf as well?!"

Alex chuckled softly, "well technically." Jason frowned but before he could speak Reina decided to introduce herself.

"My name's Reina. Alex's mate." Then she indicated Dana who was busy perusing tea, "and this our mate Dana. You must be Jason. We've heard a lot about you."

Jason continued to stare at Alex. "Yeah, whats up?" he said ignoring Reina who looked briefly stunned. "What do you mean 'technically'?"

Alex shrugged, "Reina and Dana are werewolves as well..."

"As well as who?" Jason asked frowning.

Alex actually looked a little ashamed and stared at her feet. "As well as me," she muttered.

"Get out of town!" Jason shouted, causing the werewolves to flinch slightly due to their sensitive ears. "How could you not tell me that you're a werewolf?!"

"Well, uh," Alex started but Jason was determined to continue.

"Is that why you have nightmares?" he asked. Alex quickly rushed across the kitchen to put a hand over his mouth.

"Shhh!" she hissed softly but it was slightly too late.

"What nightmares?" Reina demanded softly.

"Don't uh worry about it," Alex said releasing Jason and giving him a firm glare. "It's not a big deal."

Reina turned to Jason and tried to use her Alpha tone, "tell me, what dreams?" Jason just looked blankly at her.

Nick winced slightly at the power in his friend's voice before intervening, "Reina, he's human. The alpha tone won't work on him." Reina growled in frustration and began pacing.

Alex looked hesitant. Her mate was upset, and she was the cause of it, but she knew that explaining her actions would upset her mate even more. Dana bear-hugged Reina, who began taking deep breaths. Dana murmured something in Reina's ears. Alex sighed softly.

"Rei, I promise it isn't something to worry about," she murmured softly. Reina took a deep breath.

"Alex, I...we want to help you in every way we can. But if you don't want to talk about now, that's fine. But please we need to talk about this soon." Reina said softly and moved toward Alex taking her face in her hands. Alex sighed softly and nodded. Reina smiled slightly and gently kissed her mate. Nick cleared his voice to remind them that there were others around.

Dana spoke first, "sorry Nick. Jason, it is nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you as well," Jason said. "Nick said something about werewolf princesses. I was just wondering what the deal with that is."

Dana chuckled softly, "well you've met them. I'm the Omega Princess, Reina is the Alpha Princess, and Alex is our Warrior Princess." Reina took half a step back and looked at her best friend's mate.

Jason burst out laughing, "Alex! You're a princess?! Bridget is going to flip out." He said referring to their younger foster sister. Suddenly, his phone beeped, and he pulled it out. "E-Mom just texted me. They're on the way back. I guess we're going to have to explain that my boyfriend is a werewolf, and your girlfriends are as well."

"E-Mom?" Reina asked tilting her head to the side.

"It's what I call Emma. I've done it since I was a little kid."

Reina's glazed over before blinking, "I just mind-linked my moms. Why don't you invite your family over here for dinner? We can explain everything to them as well."

Jason typed for a couple of minutes before grinning and announcing that it was done.

"Now what should we do for the rest of the day?" Reina asked.

"Nick showed me his wolf. Alex, would it be possibly to see yours?" Jason asked hesitantly.

"Sure," Alex shrugged. "I could go for another run."
