Toms POV
"Tom. Tom!" I heard a distant echo of a voice in my ear.
A shake of my body woke me up, "Mate it's 9am." Harry sighed.
"Shit." I groaned, rolling onto my back and wiping my eyes.
"Now, tell me why the hell Cole is sleeping downstairs." Harry said in a hushed voice, kicking my door lightly closed from a distance and sitting on the end of my bed.
Shit...
"It's really none of your business." I shook my head, fully sitting up.
"It is when she's in our house and in the guest bedroom when she's supposed to be sleeping with my brother-"
"Okay fine!" I exclaimed, interrupting his rambling.
I ran my hand over my face and couldn't face to look at him.
"She...she used...she used our safe word." I mumbled, barely audible.
"She used your wha-wha?" Harry raised a brow.
"She used our...safe word." I said quietly through gritted teeth.
Harry sat and stared at me with no expression.
"I don't understand-"
"We have a sex safe word and last night she used it for the first time." I raced through the sentence.
His eyes grew wider and all that moved was his eyelids as he blinked and his chest as he breathed.
"So you decided to kick her downstairs because she didn't enjoy your fucking?"
"What?! No! Of course not! I asked her what was wrong but she didn't want to talk about it and she told me to sleep up here."
Harry's cheeks filled with air and eventually let a loud sigh out, confused and overwhelmed with the TMI he was getting.
"Why do you think she used it?"
"I have no clue. We've been having a lot of problems recently and so we talked about it once you guys went to bed then it quickly escalated and she was really into it then...I don't know." I held my head in my hands.
"I really don't want to know about your sex life in great detail but...god I can't believe I'm saying this - walk me through what happened. And spare the specifics." Harry cringed.
I looked at him, wondering if I should just never talk to him ever again because he knows too much or actually tell him.
"Okay...here's what happened - and this does not leave the room."
-
Harry and I talked it out and decided that I would have to talk to her today no matter the wedding that we had to go to.
We finally left my room and went downstairs to find everyone sitting up and the dining table for brunch.
"You had a lie in." Mum smiled, ruffling my hair and kissing the side of my head.
I smiled back, "Yeah, I needed it."
I looked around but couldn't see Cole anywhere.
"Where's Cole?" I asked casually.
"Her and Paddy volunteered to shovel the snow out of the driveway." Mum chuckled.
"Snow?" I furrowed my brows and looked outside.
Snow. A lot of it.
"I'm dreaming of a white...Christmas!" Sam sang horribly in my ear.
The garden was thick with snow, the ground covered with an untouched carpet of white fluffiness that looked so perfect.
