Olivia
I looked out the window of my hospital room and sighed. Room 153. Same one I had when I was only five years old. Now I'm 17 and Berkshire hospital is basically like my second home.
Knock knock
Nancy popped her head in and said, "hey, love, all settled in?"
"Yeah, almost...I just can't find my bloody bobby pin."
"Don't you keep them in your little cat pouch?"
"Well yeah, but there's only 29 in there when there's supposed to be 30."
"Liv, why don't you just recount them darling." Nancy said with an amused smile starting to form on her face"
"I literally recounted them all at at least 10 times!"
"Here let me count them before you lose your head."
And with the Nancy counted them all for me. Nancy was my first and favourite nurse at Berkshire. Nancy had dark skin and her hair only came up to her shoulders. It was curly and beautiful and Olivia always loved it. She was stuck with hair that was red but also wasn't red and hair the was straight but also wasn't straight. The only thing Olivia really liked about her self was her eyes. They were bright green and big like her mum's.
"...28, 29, 30. See look." Nancy had put the bobby pins in a straight line and Liv counted them over, seeing that all 30 were there.
"Oh my god, Olivia..."
"What? What's wrong?"
"I jus- I can't believe it."
"Spit it out Nancy, come on!"
"You- you were wrong for once." Nancy did a dramatic gasp and put her hands over her mouth to contain her giggles.
"Haha very funny." Olivia said sarcastically.
Just then Nancy's watch started beeping.
"Oh darling, I gotta go someone new is coming in today."
I was honestly intrigued at this point because it's usually the same people on the fourth floor.
" Is it girl? Please tell me it's a girl."
"Nope, it's a boy. Buuuut he does happen to be your age."
"Oh, what's his name?"
"Joshua."

Hi, if you've read this far I literally love you!! This is the first book I've written so it's great so far but hopefully I get better! I joined Wattpad because I saw it on HP TikTok (and by that I mean Dracotok). I might write some HP stuff but I'm not sure.
