When Bellamy entered the top floor of the drop ship Clarke was by Jasper's side, her head leaning forward causing her hair to fall over her face. Her lids were shut loosely but she almost shot out of the chair when he took a step closer. Her cheeks reddened when she noticed his raised eyebrows. "You scared me," she muttered sleepily. Bellamy almost wanted to smile at her raspy wake up voice, so much more free and young than her usual tone. "I apologize," he stepped closer his hands behind his back.

Clarke snorted. "Why are you here?"
"I wanted to make sure our healer was okay."
She rubbed her eyes. "That's bullshit and again... I do happen to posses a name."
He took a step towards her. "I don't think we're on first name terms princess," he smirked. She stood up holding his gaze. "Neither do I," she sneered. "But I happen to believe in a little thing called respect."
Another step. "Im clearly the leader at camp, everybody respects me more."
She stepped back realizing their close proximity. "Yet I've helped them, I'm going to keep them alive. Who do you think they'll like more when someone breaks a leg and you don't know what to do?"

Bellamy took the few remaining steps until he was against Clarke, her back pinned to the wall. He heard her muffled gasp as she tried to escape but he just pressed closer.
Shivers from her body rolled over his, spreading heat with them. He took her dagger out before he got distracted with how awfully right it felt to be this close to the girl he was supposed to kill, the one that had almost taken his ear off and she stopped squirming.

The princess' glare could have been sharper than the knife as she lifted her chin to look at him.
"How do you expect to save everybody if you can't look after your own shit?" he asked, twirling the ark made dagger between his fingers.

"You had no right to take it."
"And you had no right to throw it at me."

Her eyes narrowed her next words soft, "I had the only right."
Her warm breath fanned across the base of his neck and Bellamy's muscles tightened.

"Where did you get it?"
"It's drop ship metal don't you see."
He brought his face closer to hers, lips twisted in a snarl. "Don't lie to me," he hissed. "I know you got it from the ark."

Griffin's shoulders stiffened and he knew his assumptions had been correct. "Who made this for you?"
"Why does it matter now," she said not meeting his eye. "They'll be dead soon while we fight for survival. I'll never see them again and neither will you."
He stepped away from her running his hands through his hair. "You are about as stubborn as a boulder."
"Boulders can move," she whispered. "If they find someone willing to help them."

Their eyes met for a split second before he looked away.

The start of a smirk played on her pink lips. "This game between us... its never going to end is it Blake?"
He swallowed straitening his spine. Bellamy figured that she meant the constant game of bodily teasing, how even though he teased her most of the time he always felt more flustered than her. If this continued he would want her. Her body, her soul, her heart, he would want everything.

"Perhaps not for a while but I expect to emerge champion."
"We'll see about that," she said turning back to Jasper her back towards him.

"Hey princess."
Clarke's head peered over her shoulder.
"I came to bring this back." Bellamy placed the knife on a table littered with her medical equipment. With one last glance at her blue eyes he climbed down the drop ship ladder even more confused than when he came in.
