ANNIE POV Hey. I'm Annie. I don't use my full last name so I do the first initial of it, B, because I hate my family. See, my mom left when I was little and my dad remarried this abusive, toxic, cheating, alcoholic of a whore. Anyways, I have blonde hair and blue eyes. I know, basic. But it's cool too because I have a darker complexion which brings out the hair and eyes. I'm also friends with Nico Di Angelo. We attend South Gillian High School together. The annual dance is tonight and I'm going alone as usual. I don't have a date, I'm single. But I'm happy like that. I don't have a crush on anyone either.
I ran around my room in my dress looking for shoes. I had left my hair messy and done my eyeshadow to match my dress. I left my lips with a simple, slightly pink tinted gloss as well.

I walked into the school gym where the dance was being held. Teenagers were dancing, eating, drinking, sneaking off to empty rooms. The DJ was currently playing my favorite song, Miss Jackson, by Panic! At the Disco. (That's my favorite) I looked around to see if I could find Nico, I couldn't. I grabbed a cup and filled it with punch. I took a seat near the door and just listened to the music. I looked over and saw Nico with a blonde guy. He had sunshiny hair, clear sky blue eyes and this inhumanly perfect tan with sparkling teeth to complete the look. They were polar opposites but looked so cute together. Nico spotted me and pulled the blonde with him.

"Soooooo who's this?" I said, waggling my eyebrows.
"This is Will. My boyfriend," Nico blushed a bright crimson, "Will, this is Annie. One of my best friends here,"
"Why didn't you ever tell meeeeeeeeeeeee?" I whined. "Also lovely to meet you, Will,"
"Because I thought you'd judge me. I was clearly wrong," Nico said.
"Mhm. You're very cute together by the way," I complimented. Nico blushed again and didn't respond. Will laughed and thanked me before dragging Nico off to dance. After a few minutes of mental debating, I got up to dance by myself. Suddenly, a loud crash was heard across the gym. A thing with a human head but a lion body was stood there.
It growled, "Son of Hades. Son of Apollo. Daughter of Hecate," I stood there frozen, watching as people ran out screaming about men with guns and shit. Nico and Will had weapons out and were fighting the thing!
"We can't kill it!" I heard Nico shout to Will.
"I know. Grab Annie and let's go," Will shouted back. Nico ran over to me and grabbed my hand. He dragged me to Will and grabbed his hand too. Suddenly, I was nauseous and standing on a hill.
"Can I see your phone quick?" Will asked. I nodded and it to him unlocked.
"Hello Sir. I'm Will Solace. Your daughter was attacked and is now safe at camp," Muffled mumbles. "Okay, I'll let her know," More muffled mumbles. "Yup. Bye,"
It was a one sided conversation from my end but I assume Will was talking to my dad.
"I called your dad. He said he loves you and he hopes you learn to defend yourself," Will said. I nodded and they explained the whole Greek Gods thing to me and how my mother was a goddess, apparently Hecate. I was at the bottom of the hill when there was a light flashing around me. I looked up and saw two crossed torches over my head.
A man in a wheelchair yelled out, "Hail Annie B, daughter of Hecate!" Kids around me kneeled and I was brought to cabin 20.
Nico knocked on the door and shouted, "Lou! You have a new sister!" A girl with short hair that had some purple in it came out of the door.
"Hey. I'm Lou Ellen Blackstone, your new half sister. I'll give you the tour of camp!" She greeted.
"Hi. I'm Annie. I don't use my last name," I replied. She grinned and beckoned for me to follow her. I got the full tour of camp and became even closer to Nico, Will, Lou-Ellen and her boyfriend, Cecil. I found a family here. I'm where I belong.
