Dream's Pov

As I open the bathroom door, I'm met with Sapnap and his hazel eyes with that one green swirl.

"Dream! What took you so long! The Doctor's already here, cmon!" He says grabbing my wrist but I flinch, stepping back.

"Dream?" He asks softly staring at me.

I stand there confused as well.

"I- I'm sorry-." I say quickly and he only frowns.

"It's okay let's just go." He says, this time not grabbing me.

"Wait!" I let a bit of emotion slip out.

He turns around to face me once again, only this time he looks almost..annoyed.

"Sapnap I need you to be honest with me." I say leading up to the question I had.

"Honest? About what?" He says and I sigh.

"Sap- You said.. that I could be the Chosen One, right?" I begin to ask in a shaky voice.

He nods.

"I just- why?" I finish saying and he opens his mouth but no words come out.

"Honestly?" He asks squinting his eyes a bit.

"Honestly." I reply back.

He takes a deep breath, "Karl had given me a book. A book that my dad always read. And me, karl, and George all read the book together...without you...and we- well we. Okay." He seems a bit flustered, confused in his words.

"The book was never finished. It ends in an incomplete sentence. But the book speaks about the legend of Herobrine and Steve and the relation they have with the chosen one. And there's a section in the book where the Author described what the chosen one looked like, and a bit about their internal feelings." He says and I only grow more worried by the second.

I can't possibly be the one. I can't, I just can't.

"Wh-What was the description?" I ask biting my lip.

"If i remember correctly he mostly described him for his eyes. The chosen one has emerald green eyes. Bright as day and dark as night. They were mesmerizing - hypnotizing almost. And it said that they're very friendly but they can be the meanest too. The Author also said that the chosen one wasn't capable of ever falling in love because they would just wish death upon that person." He finishes saying.

Green eyes?

I..I had green eyes.

"What about the last sentence that wasn't finished what did that uh say?" I ask as my throat felt like it was closing up.

"Uhm..It said something along the lines of 'He who they poses, can control their mind to the point where they can turn a kid into a serial killer and back to a kid. Though he rips through the mind, the heart is left untouched, he with this ability' " He stopped talking after that.
