Sapnap's Pov

I decided to walk Karl back home, and George agreed, Dream wasn't saying anything so I just assumed he was okay with it.

As we walked down the path, the tension between me and Karl was increasing by the second.

"Have you, gone back to the kingdom?" Karl breaks the silence.

"No, I was but Dream and George never took me." I say and see my breath in the cold air.

A gust of wind goes through us making me put my hands in my pockets.

We finally made it to his porch.

"Thanks again for walking me home!" Karl says as he stands in front of me.

He was slightly taller maybe by one or two inches.

"Yeah you're welcome! Hopefully you can come over again!" I say smiling which caused him to blush.

The cold already made his cheeks pink along with his nose so his blush was really bright.

"Yeah, hey Sapnap?" Karl got closer to me, and took my hands into his.

My heart began to speed up, I really hoped he wasn't gonna do what i think he's gonna do.

He leaned in closer but before doing anything he said "Can I-I kiss you?" in a shaky voice.

He was so close I could feel his breath on my lips.

I looked into his eyes, as they glimmer, I find his gaze.

"Karl.." I slowly say not answering his question, and his eyes soften, he smiled slightly as he backs away.

I instantly feel guilty.

He lets go of my hands but as soon as he does that I hug him.

I almost tumble him down.

I begin tearing up as he hugs me back.

"I'm sorry Karl, I'm sorry but i think i'm in love with somebody else! but I feel so bad rejecting you cause you're so sweet and smart and handsome and sweet and smart and handsome and sweet and sm-" He grabs my shoulders and looks me in the eyes.

"Okay okay I get it, i'm sweet and smart and handsome, but Sapnap, don't apologize for feeling the way you feel, I understand, don't worry, we're still best friends!" He says and wipes away my tears with his hand.

I smile at him and hug him once more.

"Thank you Karl Jacobs." I say and he chuckles hugging me back.

After saying our goodbyes, I begin to walk back home alone.

I can't help but think back at what I said.

Did I really just admit that I'm in love with somebody else, with..

I heard a bunch of branches move and the sound of an endermen or maybe it was an enderpearl.

I look around but don't see nothing.

"I better get going, I do not want to fight any endermen right now, or even worst, skeletons, those boney creatures are no joke." I say to myself as I place my hands in my coat pockets once again.

Actually this is Dream's coat.

I sighed.

I finally got home, and I closed the door immediately, letting my body heat up slowly with the warmth from inside the house.
