"Let her go, Tay" Tay steps aside, and Harry was standing right behind him. He seems different.

His hair is shorter while, I notice a tattoo on his neck. My eyes are fixed on the tattoo. It is a gun making my breath stop. I can't find words to say.

"How are you, Joanna?" he asks and approaches me with a smile.

What does he want me to say? He smiles at me as if nothing happened. Doesn't he remember anything from the beach party?

"Looks like she doesn't want to talk to you," Tay's voice comes from next to me, and I turn to look at him.

He looks at me from top to bottom many times, licking his lips, making me clench my jaw.

"Stop looking at me like that," I snap at him, making Tay smirk. I don't like this. I want to leave.

"Are you ok?" Harry asks again and takes a step closer to me.

"I'm fine, Harry," I raise my voice, surprising even myself. My gaze goes back to the guy next to me, who has taken out a cigarette and is trying to light it.

"This is my friend Tay. He's not from our school," Harry says, and I just nod my head, "He isn't going to hurt you. You are my friend too."

"Is he going to hurt anyone who isn't your friend?" Tay laughs, making me look down.

"Of course not, unless if someone bothers me."

"I didn't know I was still your friend," I reply as my eyes wandered between Harry and Tay.

"I still care about you, even if you are pushing me away," he says, with a smile on his face.

"You forced me to push you away. The moment you got angry with me for no reason, the moment you hit Diego, the moment you threw that bottle at the tree causing the glasses to fall on me," I say with one breath and hear a chuckle from beside me, but I don't turn my head.

"Sorry, I never wanted to hurt you. What can I do to forgive you? I missed your company," my heart beats faster. I don't know if he means his apology.

"I don't think we have anything in common anymore, Harry. I tried to be there for you, but your behavior pushed me away. And now you're hanging out with someone I never expected you to be," I say, and Harry looks at Tay, who walks closer to him.

"Do you have a problem with me, girl?"

"Yes, I have," I say, looking at him intently and then looking at Harry, "Did he get to you? Is that why you've changed lately?"

"No. You know what made me change. You know very well. As soon as the school opens, Isaac won't dare to approach me again," I look at him in horror as suddenly my thoughts go to the dream I saw.

"What are you going to do?"

"Don't tell her. She may tell him," Tay whispers to Harry, and for a moment, I stop breathing.

"Listen, Joanna, I don't need anyone to protect me anymore. Neither can you. I can protect myself," I see his nostrils open and close sharply.

"How? With a gun?" I ask a little loudly, making Tay turn his sharp gaze on me. He comes with quick steps towards me and brings his face very close to mine.

"Tay."

"Keep your beautiful little mouth shut, little one," he pauses, grabbing my head by the back of my neck and sticking his face in my hair, "Don'ttalk about things that can get you hurt?" he takes a deep breath, and then he was pulled away from me.
