I am surprised at how emotional I feel finishing this story, I'm trying hard not to cry because it feels silly to cry over something fictional. However, I feel a deep connection with Grace and her experience, because some of her experiences are mine.
In a way, writing this has been a little bit of a therapy session for me, anonymously being able to share some of what I went through without fear of judgement or being treated differently.
I hope you got something from this story, no matter how small.
