Master's POV
I'd kept a look out since the day she managed to get away, knowing full well she had nowhere to turn. She'll either come running back, or I'll find her on the streets. I'd spent most of my days sitting in cafes looking out for her or walking the streets trying to find my Grace. She will be mine again...
So, guess how surprised I was to see her yesterday, there across the street from me. She looked a little different, but I'd recognise her anywhere. My jaw clenched when I noticed she'd cut her hair shorter, she knows I like her hair long. I was more surprised however by the three men with her, two relatively tall and one a little shorter, all looking at her like she was the sun and their world revolved around her. I walked alongside them a little while on my side of the street, making sure not to be noticed as I slipped my phone out to take a picture of the group. Let's see who these fuckers are later.
I stop, slipping the phone back into my pocket, looking up to watch them, staring intently. Notice me Grace, be a good girl...
As if she'd heard my thoughts, her eyes found mine and she froze rooted to the spot. Good girl, look at your Master...
As she points to me, the buffoons she's with looking around like cartoon characters, I blow her a kiss and wink before turning to walk with the public going about their day.
As I walk back to my car, slipping out through a side alley, I can't help but smile. I'm coming for you Grace.
Grace's POV
It'd been a few days since the misunderstanding with Namjoon, but things had been a lot better since then. We'd agreed that if they had any questions about what had happened to me, they were allowed to ask instead of holding it in and it getting out of hand. I'd also been trying to understand their feelings towards my situation, trying to get to grips with the fact that people actually cared about me.
Today I'd asked Jin if we could do some baking together, I really wanted to do something nice for them, and what's better than cupcakes? Nothing, nothing is better than cupcakes.
The only catch was, we needed to go and get some supplies for the recipe and for the decorating side. We'd agreed that I'd go with Jimin, Jungkook and Tae, but the others would have their phones on them if we needed help. I felt it was a little extreme, but they wouldn't back down, so I relented knowing that it was just to keep me safe.
"Jungkook! Jimin! Move or you're not getting cupcakes!" Tae yells up the stairs, the two of them racing down the stairs making me giggle.
"I still get cupcakes right?" Jungkook asks wide eyed.
"Yes you still get cupcakes, but only if we leave now." I smile heading towards the front door.
"Wait, Grace, what do you..." Jimin starts but I cut him off already knowing what he's going to ask.
"Stay with you, don't wander off, and if I see him or think I'm being watched tell one of you." I repeat from memory.
"Good, let's go." Tae says with a smile, taking my hand in his and leading me to the car.
*-*
"Ooh can we get these for decorations? Oh! And these?!" Jungkook is running around the sweet aisle like a kid in a literal candy shop, bringing me offerings waiting for approval.
"If that's what you want." I giggle as he dumps an armful of sweet packets into the trolley I'm pushing.
"No wonder he's always so full of energy, he's 90% sugar and additives." Jimin tsks shaking his head with a warm smile as Jungkook finds yet another packet to add to the growing collection.
"I think it's cute, it's nice to see him appreciate the little things like a pack of sweets." I shrug picking up a packet and dropping it into the trolley myself. "He better not touch my sweets though." I say playfully to Jimin and Tae, their chuckles making me smile.
"Have we got everything Grace?" Tae asks checking his phone, quickly typing a text and sending it.
"Yep, I think we got...everything." I say scratching the back of my neck as I look at the mountain of confectionery in the trolley with a small frown as I try not to laugh.
"You get to explain this to Jin." Jimin teases Jungkook, poking him in the side playfully.
Taehyung's POV
"Hobi is calling me, I'm just going to take this outside. Stay with Jungkook and Jimin, I won't be a minute." I say to Grace before stepping out into the street.
"Are you on your way back? If not I was wondering if you could pick up some more bottled water and some snacks for a movie night?"
"I can stop off on the way back, it shouldn't take long. Text me if we need anything else." I say before hanging up.
As I turn to head back in, I get the feeling like I'm being watched. I turn around and scan the street, surprised to find it pretty much empty apart from a woman and her children, and an elderly man with a walking stick. I shake my head, convincing myself I'm just being a little paranoid after last time.
"Everything ok Hyung?" Jungkook asks walking out of the shop with Grace and Jimin.
"Yeah, Hobi just wants us to pick up some water and snacks for a movie night." I explain with a small smile.
"Come on, let's get this haul back to the car, though Kookie may be walking home if there's not room." Jimin teases as he starts heading in the direction of the car park we used.
"What snacks are we going to get?" Jungkook asks excitedly, completely ignoring Jimin's little dig, Grace giggling at them as I take her hand. I turn back one last time, scanning once more for a sign of anyone watching us, but again there's nothing. I just can't shake that feeling...
