Cap.25

I can't belive. This day has finally arrived. My big brother, graduating. When i woke up i went to his room and i saw him already up. That isn't normal. We talked for awhile. He doesn't admit it but he is nervous and i guess he doesn't know that we can see it.
When we talked this morning i noticed that he is sad. For leaving the football team( that he is in since the freshman year), he still doesn't know yet if he got in the collegues that he has applyed to.

Right now we are getting in the car. Me, my brother and my parents.

When we arrive at school he goes to his classmates and i went to seat with my parents. After almost a hour they started the ceremony. After a few students said their speaches, they started calling names. Almost on the end they call his name.

?: Liam Adams.

Me and my parents get up and we clap and yell his name.

C: Finally.

He looks at me and roll his eyes. He goes back to sit next to his classmates.

?: Congrats class of 2016!

We got up and go near him. When he spot us he immediately flashes a smile.

L: I did it Clary. I did.

He hugs me, then mom and then dad.

R: I am so proud of you.
Ro: Good job son.
L: Thanks.

When we go home i just can't stop to think about what's about to happen.

L: Where is your head?
C: Somewhere.
L: Why do you look like you are about to explode?
C: I don't know. You are the weird one.
L: Me? Why ?
C: You looked NERVOUS. Liam Adams looked nervous.
L: Yeah. Is so funny.
C: Actually it is.
L: Let's wait. Next year is your turn.

We stop the car and get out.

L: So what are we doing today.
Ro: Whatever you want to.
R: Just open the door.
L: Ok fine.

He opens the door. Every single one of his friends is here.

Everyone: Surprise!
L: Shit.

He looks at me.

L: You did this?
C: No. We did this.

I say pointing to James and his friends from the football team.

L: Why?
C: You love party. And you are leaving early for college...
L: I didn't get in.
C: We all know that you are getting in.
L: Thanks.

He hugs me and whispers in my ear.

L: Thanks. You know that me going away doesn't changes anything.
C: I hope so. Love you jerk.
L: Love you.

He goes to his friends. I am gonna let him enjoy his party with his friends. I call Christian.

C: Hi.
CH: Hi babe. Your brother's party is already over? Something happened?
C: No. Are you home?
CH: Yeah. You coming over?
C: Be there in ten.
