Charity Event

As time passed, IC was getting bigger and bigger. It was all thanks to the good cooperation between Yi-Seo and Saeroyi. Yi-Seo was not only an excellent manager and businesswoman, but she knew Saeroyi in-and-out. She read her boss like an open book and made all his wishes regarding his company come true. He didn't even have to say it out loud. She somehow always guessed what was on his mind.

Just like this time. She knew him too well and when the opportunity to host a charity event popped up, she jumped on it. She knew how much Saeroyi liked to give and she wanted to learn it too. She wanted to be as good of a person as he was. So she was in control of everything concerning the event. She made sure everything was made like her boss wanted to.
When the big day came Saeroyi was over the moon. The minute he stepped into the building where the event was held he was overwhelmed by the number of people who came to his company's event to donate money for a good purpose.

The big room was filled with tables and chairs, flowers all over, ballons and even candles. In the front, there was a stage and on the other end of the room, there was a little dance floor. Saeroyi was impressed. He couldn't stop smiling as he made his way to start conversations with other businessmen.

While Saeroyi was proud and relaxed, Yi-Seo was the complete opposite. She was stressed and felt like nothing was going the way she wanted. She didn't even have a quick minute to greet the guests, she had to solve a problem in the kitchen, then on the other end of the building and then again in the kitchen. She felt like losing control, which she hated.

At least she looked good, she thought to herself. Every time she drove the elevator, which was very frequently actually, she could take a minute to look at her reflection in the big mirror. She was wearing a red dress, her now long hair was freely resting on the shoulders. Her face looked a little red, probably from running around the whole night. But she smiled because she could never forget why she was doing it. Helping others made the man she loved happy. Indirectly she made her love happy and she liked that thought. Because her love, her boss, Park Saeroyi deserved to be happy. At any cost.

The elevator reached its destination and the doors opened. Yi-Seo took off her eyes of the mirror and made her way out of the lift when she dumped into someone. The person took her armed and pulled her back into the elevator which closed it's doors again.

Yi-Seo and the mysterious man aka Park Saeroyi were standing alone in the lift.

"Yi-Seo-Ah! Where have you been? Why are you not down there having fun?" Saeroyi asked her naively while letting her arm go. As if he didn't know the answer. But he was waiting for her reply.

"I had a few things to do before going down there." she looked straight into his eyes. She was fearless.

„As if you were the event planner! Not everything is your job! Come on I'll get you a drink!"

He pressed a button and the doors opened. They were now in the middle of the event but Saeroyi was not paying attention to anyone until they got to the bar. He made sure that Yi-Seo sat down on one of the high chairs before he sat down himself and ordered two drinks.

She didn't disagree. She should have because she knew she had a lot to do. But who knows when she gets the chance to drink with him again any time soon.

"Thank you" she looked at him. Her red face and brown eyes were filled with tiredness. He then understood. There was no need for words. He understood that she was working the whole time to make this night perfect. Yi-Seo must have seen it in his eyes because she just said:

„I know how much this means to you. You know, being good to others and giving back. I wanted to make this night unforgettable for you. I did it for you."

Saeroyi smiled a little and then raised his hand. He petted her hair.

"I am sorry. Thank you." she just replied:

"It's alright. I love you"
