Third POV

Kusuo, Kurumi and Kuniharu were all sitting on the couch watching late night news. Kurumi and Kuniharu were cuddling while Kusuo was just sitting on the edge of the couch.

All of a sudden, Kusuo spotted something across the room. A bug! He jolted backwards, falling off the couch, almost hitting his head on the end table. Kurumi gasped. "Kuu-chan, are you alright?!" She screeched in her normal high-pitched voice. Kuniharu got off the couch and went to help his son back to his feet. Kurumi rushed over to her son to check for any bumps or bruises. "Did you hit your head, kuu-chan?" She asked. Kusuo didn't respond. Instead he stared in horror at the huge cockroach on the wall across from the couch.

Kuniharu looked at the wall and saw the bug. He looked back at Kusuo and then Kurumi, confused. He thought Kusuo had gotten over his fear of bugs.

The whole room went silent when the cockroach started flying towards them. "What the hell?! Can cockroaches even do that?!" Kuniharu screeched. Kusuo ducked down and covered himself with a blanket. Kuniharu, while still screeching, ran to the kitchen to get a bug killer spray thing and started to chase the bug around the living room.

Kuniharu finally cornered the bug and sprayed, a little to much of, the bug spray at the cockroach, successfully killing it. "I got it! It's dead!" Kuniharu celebrated. Kurumi let out a sigh of relief and turned back to Kusuo who was still under the blanket. She giggled and knelt down by him, lifting the blanket off his head to see him hugging his knees and staring down at his feet, still shaking a little.

"Aww, Kuu-chan, the bug is gone! Daddy got it!" She said. Kusuo didn't move. He was traumatized. -are you sure?- he sent. "Yes, honey, I'm sure." She giggled. He slowly calmed himself and got up from the floor. He slowly walked back over to the couch and sat back on the edge.

'Here's a chance to really see if he's afraid of them heh heh' Kuniharu thought. Kusuo chose to wear his germanium ring a lot more so he couldn't hear what his father just thought. All of a sudden Kuniharu took the real cockroach (he had just acted scared of the bug but it was fake) and put it on Kusuo's knee.

Kusuo felt something on his knee. He looked down and saw the cockroach crawling around on his leg. He let out a very girly shriek and, again, fell off the couch. This time he really did hit his head. He sat on the floor holding his head and trying to fight back tears as the bug crawled away.

"Kuniharu Saiki! Why on earth would you do that to Kuu?" Kurumi scolded her husband. Why would he even think about doing something like that? She knelt down by Kusuo again and checked the back of his head. "Kuu-chan, where does it hurt?" She asked him. Again, he didn't respond. He just kept staring at the bug.

Kurumi sighed and walked toward the creature, picked it up fearlessly (is she even human?!) and threw it outside. She then went back to Kusuo and finished looking at his head for any wounds or bumps. "Well you're fine now but you'll probably have a bump on your head later. Are you okay Kuu?" She asked softly.

Kusuo was still shaking. He really hated bugs. They scared him. As much as he hated to admit it. He nodded, answering his mother's question, ad stood up on shaky legs to sit back on the couch. This time fully on the couch. He took off his ring and placed it on the table. Then he turned his attention back to the tv and continued watching the news.

He was still shaken up by the whole thing. He wanted comfort. Again, as much as he'd hate to admit it. So he leaned over to his mother and rested his head on her shoulder. Kurumi placed her arm around his shoulders and pulled him closer. "It's okay, Kuu-chan, the bug's gone." She reassured. Kusuo blushed a little. He hated being vulnerable.
