(The being inches slowly towards Eva. This unnerves her and causes her to step back.)
Eva: Actually, I don't know if I can do this.
Araru: You can't turn back now. She has us out in the middle of nowhere.
Eva: Yeah, but you can feel her bloodlust too, right?
Araru: Of course I can. But I've given off worse.
Eva: You have…*Deep breath* Okay. Bring it on...mom!
(In that instant, the being appears to the left side of Eva. It elbows her hard enough to knock the air and moisture out of her body. She falls to the ground gasping for air, severely dehydrated. Araru quickly regulates her breathing and absorbs the moisture from the air through her skin to rehydrate her.)
Eva: *Frantic* She's so fast!
Araru: Focus, Evangeline!
(The being quickly approaches again, but this time Eva keeps an eye on it. It goes to palm strike her, but Eva narrowly dodges and goes to kick the being. It throws its arm up to block, but Eva attaches metal shackles on its arm with the kick. She uses these to leverage herself to turn and kick with her other leg and lands a blow to its head.)
Eva: I got her!
(The being grabs the shackles and freezes them solid. It then shatters them and grabs Eva all within seconds. She swings Eva once around and slams her into the ice, bouncing her in the process. While Eva is still in the air, it proceeds to palm strike and kick Eva many times, ending with a powerful penetrating palm to her gut. Eva grunts in pain as she hits the ice and slides a few feet.)
Eva: She's too strong! Mom was always a good close quarters fighter!
Araru: Try long range then!
(Eva grabs her bow and fires several arrows at the being. The arrows freeze as they approach it and bounce off of its body.)
Eva: Fine!
(She forms more arrows out of metal and her eyes glow yellow. The being tilts its head. Eva fires three rail gun arrows. The being, noticing the force behind the arrows, twists and pivots to dodge. As it does so, it slaps one of the arrows with the back of its hand, dodges the second, and grabs the third one. Once it grabs the third, it spins and tosses it back to Eva. Eva moves to the side and the arrow shatters a good portion of ice behind her.)
Eva: I'm going to have to put all the effort I can into this. Araru, did you see if you can unbond from me?
Araru: Just did it.
Eva: *Eyes turning back to crimson* Okay. Use your influence over water to keep me from falling in. Use your air to help speed me up a bit with hang time and such. and in case my own power gives out, use earth to make platforms for me.
Araru: Such a tall order. You really trust me that much?
Eva: I'm just trying to survive, aren't you?
Araru: Right. And I'll do you one better.
(Araru grants Eva the ability to perceive things at light speeds. Eva readies herself again and her sweatband, wrench, spear, photo, and necklace all begin to glow. Eva shouts as electricity arcs around her. Both her and the being clash in the middle. The being throwing palm strikes at blinding speeds, but Eva blocking and dodging while throwing her own punches and kicks. The being goes to roundhouse kick, but Eva bends backward to dodge. She then places her hands on the ground and swings her legs around into a kick. The being blocks, but is pushed back a little. It grabs her leg and tosses her towards the water. Eva gestures her hands and a small pillar of rock rises from the water. She stems metal rails from it and begins to grind around the being. The being throws waves of water, cutting the rails and their pathing, but Araru uses the wind to glide her onto floating platforms of rock. Eva turns the rock towards the being and launches off of it to attack. She throws a powerful kick, but the being side steps and Eva breaks through the ice. Araru makes Eva's body hydrophobic and creates a pillar of rock for her to land on and launch back up. Eva jumps above the being and throws an axe kick. The being blocks with its forearm, but Eva's kick bounces, making her rotate in the opposite direction. Going with that momentum, Eva throws an upward kick, which the being blocks with its hands, but it gets lifted into the air. Eva backflips into a position under the being and kicks it further into the air. She summons Zellos' sword with the photo and thrusts at the being's head. But in that moment, two torrents of water twist around each other from behind the being and blast Eva back onto the ice. It lands on the ice and proceeds to slash torrents of water at Eva using twists, turns and pivots in its steps. Eva dodges each hit, but every dodge allows the water to slice a piece of ice off of the platform.)
