Human: S-She's one of those freaks!
Sokka: Mary, you lied to me! Who are you really!?
Eva: My...name is...
Human2: You disgusting things are still alive!?
Human3: Where are the rest of you!?
Human2: Looks like we still have a job to finish!
(The crowd begins to get louder and louder with shouts of derogatory language filling the air. People start picking up rocks and throwing them at her, though they just bounce off and do no damage. Eva becomes sadder as she witnessed first hand all of the hate that her family endured in their lives. Threats of bodily harm and death are thrown at her recklessly and her mind starts to panic, almost reverting her back to her depressive episodes. She starts to cry as she goes into an upright fetal position.)
Eva: Stop it! Stop it! Leave me alone, I'm human, too! *Pauses* (Why did I say that??)
Sokka: *Seeing her anguish* Pathetic.
Eva: Please stop! I just want to help! I'll tell you everything, just please stop!
Sokka: *Rolling his eyes and sighing* Hey! Hey! Alright! Stop it!
Human: You again!? What do you want this time!?
Sokka: Listen, I hate her kind just as much, alright. But it seems she's the only one who can tell us what our predicament is. Can we stave off the persecution to at least hear her out??
Human: You just want to defend her because she looks young! Remember, she's a monster and she houses a monster inside of her!
Sokka: We are in unfamiliar territory, waking up from what feels like a long fever dream! Let's get our bearings first!
Human2: You must be afraid. There's only one of her and a whole lot of us. We've taken out their kind before.
Sokka: When we had powers and technology. I don't know about you, but I'm not feeling very powerful!
(Everyone looks over their bodies and makes gestures trying to activate abilities to no avail.)
Sokka: She may be just one, but we don't even know her powers. She could be capable of wiping us out in an instant.
Human: Tch, fine.
Sokka: And believe me, *looks into Eva's eyes* if I had my powers right now, I'd be the first to try and kill her. But we can worry about her fate after she's done telling us what happened. Freak, if you would?
Eva: I'm...not a freak...
Sokka: Shut up and get on with it!
Eva: *Sigh* Okay...*Clears throat* Uh, Hi. My name is Evangeline Keade Black.
Sokka: (Black? Wait a minute.)
Eva: Yes, I am an amalgram. But I'm actually the last one.
Sokka: Amalgram? What the heck is that??
Nico: It's what they started calling themselves around the time you died. Trey was the one who named them.
Sokka: Is that right? *Growls* Tremaine Black...
Eva: The man you knew as Hoffman, was actually controlled by a parasite named Araru. Technically Hoffman was an amalgram as well. And he now resides in me with Technas, his wife, and is the reason this all happened.
Human: What a load! Hoffman, the one who hated you all the most was one of you!? Ridiculous! You're clearly lying!
Eva: Forget the explanation then, I'll just show you.
