"Will?" El asked. Will was stuck in his head trying to figure out what style of hair would suit El's character the best. Maybe brown hair like hers, but it's really long and is tied back, in some way. I don't know I'm not a stylist. This is a lot harder then I thought it would be.

"Yeah" he responded, trying to pull himself out of his thoughts. El could be asking almost anything. It must be hard for her. Coming into a world she doesn't know much about. I'll try help her as much as possible. She needs someone to understand her but also help her through the transition. And she is like a sister to me.

"Do you think Hopper loves your mom?" El asked, scanning his face as he thought. Well, I have caught him staring at my mom a lot when she's not looking, but she does that too. And they smile at each other a lot. Like how Jonathan and Nancy smile at each other. Wait maybe they do love each other!

"I think he does. And I think my mom feels the same way." He answered a small smile forming on his face "Really? How do you know?" She asked while fidgeting with the red crayon. "She's always happy when she sees him and when you's come over. Happier than she normally is and when he leaves she is sad."

He doesn't like it when his mom was sad. It makes him feel bad and all he wants to do is hug her and make her problems go away. I wish I had that superpower. The ability to make problems go away, with a simple touch. I could make my mom happy. She wouldn't have to worry so much. And Jonathan wouldn't be worried about mom and he wouldn't put his whole life on hold to help her. Mom hates that he stops his life to help her. He doesn't need to and he should live his life now, without stressing and worrying. El could live a normal life with us. And Hopper wouldn't have to worry about my mom or El being hurt. I wish.

"Hopper does the same." El pulls Will out of his head. "He looks at her like I look at Mike. And I love Mike so Hopper loves Joyce. He smiles a lot more when she is there." El states with a proud smile on her face. Will knows that she doesn't always understand what everyone's talking about, so he likes it when she is proud of herself.

El is great at reading people. She always knows when I've had a bad nightmare the night before. And when my mom is sad. And when two people are in love.

"Do you think they know how they feel about each other?" Will asks. "No I don't think so." El said and this made Will think. "They avoid their feelings and that makes them sad" she said, reminding him of how his moms happiness would deflate after El and Hopper leave to go back to the cabin.

"You know what we should do?" Will said, excitement in his voice. He has an idea.  El smiles, clearly excited to know what he has to say. "What?" "We could try get them together!"

"Oohhh! Yes! Yes!" El squealed and Will had to remind her to keep her voice down, otherwise the adults would hear them and what they were up to.

"Sorry." She smiled sheepishly before saying, "What can we do to get them together?" Will racked him brain for ideas, but came up blank. "I don't know. Do you have any ideas?" He inquired, while trying to think of anything they could do to get Hopper and his mom together.

I could have a whole family. El could be my sister and Hopper would be a better dad then Lonnie. He hurt my mom, and I know that Hopper would never intentionally hurt her. My mom would be happier with Hopper and he'd protect her. And maybe the kids at school wouldn't call me 'Zombie Boy' anymore, if they knew the Chief was dating my mom.

"No....Let's keep thinking of ideas." El suggested turning back to the drawings of her character. "I think she should have long, brown hair." El stated as she turned back to look at Will. "Yes, that's what I was thinking." Will agreed. I hope El will be my sister someday.

Several minutes later they both heard a knock on the front door. "Should we go get that." El asked facing his closed bedroom door. "No, it's fine. My mom just ordered some pizza." He replied, not looking away from his work.

Less than a minute later they heard laughter, but they never heard the front door open. "What do you think is going on?" El asked Will as he put his crayon down. "I don't know, but I never heard the door open." He said while standing to his feet. El followed suit. "Let's go see what's going on."

Will opened his door, it complaining with a creak. But the sudden sound of a stumble made him turn his head. "Sorry just tripped on my shoe lace." El said walking over to him. He smiled, reassuring her it's ok, before they stepped out.

Hopper and his mom were standing beside the couch looking at them. I wonder what happened before we came out here. Still unsure, he just decided to ask the question they came out here to ask.

"Is the pizza here? We heard a knock at the door." He questioned his mother turning to look at the closed front door. His mom answered, "Yeah I think it is. I'll go answer."
