RWBY: TEAM KITE

Yes, yes I know it’s really late to continue the trailers but I think is time for the next one.

Team KITE is my own making. Literarily no concept of this story belongs to me but these characters, everything can me credited to the creators of RWBY, Brothers Grimm, and Wikipedia. If I’m lucky it’ll be a feature story on a fan page/ forum. Don’t mind if it’s not, it was fun doing the research for it. If you would like you can guess the fairytales, books, or poems I used as bases for the characters.

Brown trailer-

Terra was always misunderstood. She was nothing like her little sister or their parents. As the heir she was expected to follow their parents’ legacy, but she wasn’t at being a huntress like her parents; even her sister at an early age showed signs of being a natural.

But even with all her failed attempts at learning the trade her parents encouraged her the whole way. Even with all the extra years of training Terra had a permanent spot at the bottom of the class. But she didn’t mind that because she was happy with or without being the perfect heir. Even at seven she could understand that this time of peace couldn’t last.

The call had come on a perfectly calm day delivering news that had literally changed everything in her eyes. Team SFIR (Sapphire) was found dead all but one of the members, Rune Eastwitch their killer. Terra had been taken to the scene of her parents’ and aunt’s demise, which had been a gory, bloody affair that no child should see. All the happy carefreeness was crushed under a layer of grim solemn responsibility.

At the funeral at seven year old Terra with her long brown hair, the same as her mother’s, had been styled up in perfect ringlets; a black veil brained into her hair covering her eyes; Adorned in a beautiful black dress that matched her sister.

Every different kind of reporter had been there making a spectacle of this morning day. Old business partners, other hunters and huntresses that respected them, vultures waiting for a handouts, and the family members that pretended to care. And worse off were the pile of flowers on each casket, every type of flower in the kingdom, each bundle of flowers still with the tags of the flower shops.

Terra ignored the media display that her parents’ funeral had become, because even with all the family present no one would take them in even with the large amount of money to their names. None of them would take in the two Faunus because their parents were the union between a Faunus and a human; they never approved of it and no one batted an eyelash when giving the pair the cold shoulder after the act was over.

The church had cleared out; all the mocking condolences were numbed by the silence and emptiness left behind. What were they going to do now? A three year old Kobalt clung to her elder sister still sniffling as Terra pet her white hair. How could she tell her that everyone that cared about them was dead and the last was a traitor?

“Tewa,” Kobalt whined as she rubbed her eyes, “I wanna go home.”

Terra had become twice her age in the short time after her parents death. She was the one that had to take responsibility because she was the eldest, the heir—well the head of the family now. That meant that she would have to avenge her family by upholding her family’s legacy. The half-baked plan of revenge sparked: if she became a good huntress, no, the best huntress for her family name and kill the witch that murder the people she loved.

“We’ll go home, ok?” She smiled down at the fair haired girl before tugging her up and piggybacking the toddler. “Don’t worry, little sister, I’ll take care of everything.”
