After hours of loading up all of the colonists and an Ensign returning me to my room as per Kirk's orders... Both Kirk and Spock finally come to talk to me after all of their business is completed.

The door swishes open and Kirk steps in, Spock soon behind. I turn and look at them with a raised brow. "Miss Birch-" I groan loudly and sigh.

"For God sakes Jim. Just call me Alex.. please." I fucking hate it when people call me 'miss' it makes me feel old! I have a goddamn name! Use it!

"Alright.. Alex.. I have to sincerely thank you. Your service today has helped us in many ways. I.. Well, to be frank, I wish to formally ask if you would like to remain on the Enterprise-" as Kirk speaks my eyes glimmer and I squeal.

"YES! HELL YES!" Jumping up from my chair, leaping up and down in excitement while shaking my hands at my sides. Kirk looks at me with a smile, his eyes glinting with amusement. Spock whom is standing behind him raises his pointed eyebrow, intrigued at my response.

"Well then Alex, every spare second of every day we will search for a way to get you back home. But for now, I will give you level 1 access to the ship and all of it's facilities. Which is standard areas accessible by civilians... Mr. Spock, Myself and Bones will be just a call away if you need anything." Jim smiles to me as he rests his arms behind his back, nodding his head to me.

"Thank you so much, Jim." Hugging him tightly he seems surprised at the contact before returning the hug, patting me gently on the back softly. "I would hug you too Spock but.. Instead let's do an elbow bump yea?" Walking up to the Vulcan with a smile still plastered on my face, Spock looks down in thought before nodding in agreement. Bumping his elbow gently against mine, being sure to contain his increased strength.

"Well. I feel it's best to update you on where we're going next.. Our course has been set to a nearby space station to drop off all of the colonists. Once we are done dropping off the colonists, we are to head to a mining colony about two days journey from here. We received the orders from Starfleet an hour ago... Do you know anything of this?" Jim asks me with a tilt of his head and raised brow, hoping my future knowledge will protect the ship from any unknowns.

"Yes I do.. But.. to be honest.. I'm not sure if I should tell you.. It could affect the outcome..." Avoiding their gaze, I stare at the ground thinking about the possible repercussion's... I mean.. I'm technically already in an alternate timeline, considering I was never in the star trek show.. so therefore I should be okay to let them know what's going to happen..? My presence on the ship has altered everything.. "I guess I can tell you... On the planet we're heading to there's a monster- or well.. more like a silica based intelligent lifeform.. It's the one responsible for killing the miners and sabotaging their equipment... The reason it's doing this is..." I take a deep breath. "The miners found these pearls- about the size of a basket ball? And since they didn't know what to do with the abundance of them.. they dow hat humans do best and  smashed thousands of them... For fun.. Those pearls were the creatures eggs. During the episode, Spock is forced to mind melds with it after Kirk shot a chunk of flesh off it and aggravated it.. I recommend that you alert the miners of what they did and attempt to make contact with the being. It's quite intelligent." I nod my head with a smile.

"Wonderful. Thank you for the information, Alex... If it proves correct then we will plan our moves accordingly.. Now if you will excuse me, I must be getting back to work." Kirk bows his head to me as he exits my room, while Spock remains behind for some reason. I raise a brow in confusion at the man, wondering what the Vulcan needs.
