Sighing softly to myself while I carry S'tel across our small quarters on my hip. Q sitting in the corner of the room wearing a monocle with a smoking pipe in his mouth, reading my cat person manga I bought from the space station. Staring at the pages with an unamused look he sets it down beside him with a loud huff. "Utter nonsense....... Darling, we must talk about beginning your Q training. It is imperative, considering you have a young child to protect now."
Kicking his feet up off the floor, setting them down on our coffee table. Rolling my eyes I walk towards him and push his dirty feet off the table, wiping it clean with a cloth. "Dad look, I know okay? I just.. I can't exactly leave S'tel alone, there would be nobody to watch her- and everybody's so busy-"
"Dear... do you know who your talking too? I'm Q. I can literally make you a baby sitter! Ooh how about that Mrs. Doubtfire fellow? I know you are very fond of them- better yet someone with hand to hand combat training for emergency purposes.... The 'Big Mama' would be fitting don't you think?" Snapping his fingers with a blinding light, an overweight black woman appears in the middle of the room. My eyes widen looking at him- no her? I guess her? Is this Big Mama the FBI agent or the actual nanny?
"Whew Lord, it is hotter than hell up in here! Turn up the damned AC!" Fanning herself with her hand she looks around the room, then her eyes land on me. "This the child? Oh isn't she is just precious, what's her name darlin?" Big Mama walks to my side, looking at S'tel with an enthusiastic smile.
"Her Vulcan name is S'tel but you can call her Stella Big Mama..." Handing S'tel over to the woman reluctantly, S'tel leans back in her grip touching her face eagerly. The little Vulcan is confused because she can't read her surface thoughts.. she's not real after all.
Snapping loudly Q teleports to my side with a smug smile, looking at Big Mama obviously proud of his recreation of the character. "Wonderful. Babysitter taken care of. Take good care of the child, Big Mama. We shall return in about one hours time. Toodle Hoo!" Grabbing my arm we are suddenly transported to an unknown space.
- Q Space/Continuum -
Flailing my arms around in order to balance myself I yelp in surprise. I'm floating in a galaxy of some sort? It's just black and white specs as far as the eye can see. "Dad?"
"Your first lesson my dear, gravity manipulation." Q walks towards me with a smile, standing on nothing as I float around weightless struggling to gain purchase on something- no anything at all! "Calm down my darling one, Imagine a balloon floating around.." Closing my eyes letting out a shaky breath, following his instructions. "Good. Now imagine a flat plateau... The balloon is now floating downwards.. Yes... Good.. Now open your eyes." Opening my eyes I look around my surroundings. I'm standing.. in fucking SPACE.. ON NOTHING. "My goodness you're such a fast learner! Not gonna lie I'm kinda surprised.. Any who.." Q sits in a fancy looking leather chair, clapping his hands excitedly.
"W-what's the next lesson dad?" Holding out my hands I straighten up my stance looking over to him. Still boggled that I nailed that so easily.
"Well... since you're part human this next lesson may be a tad more difficult.. Again, more imagination, it's the easiest way for you to comprehend things. If you tried the Q method your brain might implode.." Sighing loudly I look at him rolling my eyes, raising my brow to him waiting for his instructions. Jedi robes appear on his body with a blink of an eye, a lightsaber hanging loosely at his waist. "Do not judge your teacher young Padawan.. Your body is a lump of clay, manipulate it with your mind.. change the shape into whatever species wish.. Then it shall be."
