Knock. Knock.
"Y/n? Are you decent? I'm coming in." I hear Draco say from the other side of my door. Shit. I quickly stuff Professor Snape's cloak under my duvet and scramble out of bed, covering it completely. Because I definitely wasn't just laying in bed with it.
"Y/n- Crap. I should have waited." Draco says as he instantly turns his head to face away from me. I look down and realise I am only in my underwear and a cropped sweater. I grab my uniform from the chair and start changing.
"Don't look!" I say to Draco as I struggle to pull on my stockings.
"I won't don't worry. You better hurry up though. It's almost half 8. Breakfast finishes soon, and we have Defence against Dark arts right after."
"Shit. I'm trying." I quickly throw my tie around my neck and proceed to clean my teeth.
"You're timetable is busy. Most people are only taking 3 NEWTS not 4, and yours are really content-heavy. I'm taking DADA, potions and charms."
"Yea but one of mine is an extra-thingy" I mumble back pulling my hair into a high ponytail.
"What?"
"I meant it's alchemy not potions, like B-tech NEWT or whatever muggles call them."
"No, I'm pretty sure it's not - it's just specialised. Potions would be the B-tech in terms of its coursework module. Alchemy is purely exam based."
"You know, for a muggle hater, you sure know a lot Draco."
"Wha-No I don't. Shut up." Draco replies and I throw him my robe. "Are you not going to make your bed?" He asks, changing the subject quickly.
"Hm? No time, let's run." I say trying to shove him out the door.
"It's literally a three-second spell, come on." He states, attempting to pull out his wand.
"Nope, can't be late, we have Snape first remember. Plus I'm super hungry."
"Fine, fine. But you're acting suspicious you know."
"No, I'm not. Let's hurry." I say, pulling him by his arm through the ice-cold dungeons.
Once we reach the almost empty Great hall, I sit beside Draco and his friends, who are finishing up their food. Although we were late, there was still an abundance of lovely breakfast left, so I grab a croissant and some bacon, and eat as fast as possible.
"Y/n, I don't know how you are always so late to everything. Like, we literally sleep next door, and I could have sworn I heard you shuffling around earlier." Pansy says in an interrogative tone."And clearly, you don't spend ages on your appearance." She judges my slightly messy uniform and dark eyes.
"Bitch." I mutter under my breath.
"Sorry what was that?" She asks sitting up slightly from her seat, perhaps in motion to intimidate me.
"Darling I didn't say anything. You must be hearing things, again." I reply calmly and earning a few 'Ooos' from Blaise and the other boys. I roll my eyes at them and continue eating my food.
"Oh would you look at the time. Have fun being late. To Snape. I'll be sure to let him know that you're too busy flirting to come to your lesson."
I scoff in reply, and shake my head.
"I'm sure he would understand." I reply back sarcastically. She struts off, behind the boys, her skirt barely covering her lacy underwear. I mean, my skirt is short too, but that is something else. To be completely honest I don't even know how she gets away with it.
