Sorry for the LATE update, but enjoy!

The birds were chirping and the sun was peeking out of my window. As I twinkled my eyes opened, I remembered what day it was... LAILA'S WEDDING DAY!! I scurried out of my bed and ran out of my room to Laila's in my pajamas.
"LAILA! GET UP! GET UP! GUESS WHAT DAY IT IS!" I opened my eyes after screaming her big news and suddenly wondered why her bed was already made and the curtains were opened.
"Good morning to you as well, why would I forget my own wedding day, huh?" Laila stepped into her room and I ran to give her a hug. She was wearing a beautiful white shalwar kameez with peals beaded into the dress, her green dupatta was on her shoulders and her beautiful walnut brown hair was down to her mid-back.
"Hey, when your done checking out what I am wearing, you need to fix yourself up... we go A LOT of work to do! Oh, and by the way... Medhi, Abbas and their parents are coming," She gave me a smirk and left the room making me think why she emphasized Mehdi's name. HMM. I walked out of the room and walked to my closet pulling out a simple, yet elegant peach shalwar kameez. I did my hijab and put a few rings on my fingers while throwing the dupatta over my shoulders. I walked downstairs and Laila's new family had already arrived. Are you kidding me! Did it just take me like an hour to get myself ready?
"Asalaam walakium, Aunty," I said while giving Laila's mother-in-law a hug and she pecked a kiss on my cheek, "Aslaam walakium, Mehdi & Abbas," I nodded to them and flashed a quick but unsuspicious smile at Mehdi. I sat on the couch and watched my mom. The room became silent and I stared at my hands waiting for a response.
"I-" I started to stay when the doorbell rang interrupting my sentence. My mother rushed to the door and opened it, her face lighting up with joy.
"Her dress is here!" As soon as Ami said that, everybody scurried to the door leaving me and Mehdi in the living room. I looked up and waved. He gave a small laugh.
"We should-you know- go with the others, otherwise they might think we you know-are...are not excited about Laila's wedding," He scratched his head nervously and I laughed. We both walked to the door and my eye caught the dress. It was the same as my drawing, but much more life-like and beautiful with popping colors. I reached out to touch the dress when a hand smacked my hand.
"NO touches!" Laila said secretly sticking her tongue out at me, secretly. I glared at her.
"I hope you remember that I designed the dress, not you," I said petting the dress.
"Laila! You need to get ready, the makeup artist will be here in a few hours!" Ami said as she ran the dress upstairs, Laila following her. The plan was to first get the dress on her body, get her makeup done, walk her downstairs and out into the car into the hall, then enjoy the party. Pretty easy.
"Sakina! You need to get ready! Your Gharara is in your closet!" I heard Ami yell. I ran upstairs and into my closet putting on the dress. I twirled around and smiled at myself in the mirror.
"Beautiful," I whispered to myself. I brought out a matching hijab and placed a tikka on my head and wrapped the hijab around my head. I didn't bother to do any makeup because natural beauty is beautiful! I stepped out of my room and saw Laila in her dress. She was so beautiful almost looking like a Pakistani princess.
"Wow, Laila you look beautiful," I walked up to her and held her hand with a tight squeeze, my eyes starting to water.
"Pish posh, look at you! Beautiful sister of the bride! I love you so much!" She gave me a hug and I hugged her back knowing this moment was precious. Then, Ami came out with an elegant Grey dress and looked at us both.
"Ya Allah, my beautiful girls! Mashallah, you both look beautiful," And with that, it was a mother and daughter group hug. Ami looked at her watch and squealed, which meant it was getting late. We all ran downstairs and I figured that Abbas, Aunty, and Medi left, but I didn't care because tonight was about my sister. It will always be. My beautiful sister, Laila. We got into the car and I helped Laila with her dress and she helped me get into the car. I held her hand as we started to drive. Sisters, forever.
