The sun rose high in the sky, signaling that the hours of dawn had already passed by. The wind danced happily against the tall jungle trees while monkeys jumped from branch to branch, some of them fighting over food while others were just showing off.

Jungkook stepped out of his den and looked up at the blue canvas. He closed his eyes and let the warm breeze of sun-high brush against his skin, he took in a big gulp of the earthy scent of the jungle and let out a sigh.

A small feeling of grief settled over his chest when his eyes opened slightly and caught the sun's shine between the cotton-like clouds. He had already gotten used to living in the jungle with Namjoon's former tribe, but the sadness at being stupid enough to give up his place up in the sky with his family still stung him worse than a hornet.

The worse thing was that he had done it out of love. Out of the desire of having a mate like any other creature in the island, and the desire of knowing what love truly was. But the only thing that Taehyung had ended up doing was betray him.

From the day that Taehyung took their bond away, Jungkook had made a vow to never forgive or forget the destruction of the connection to each other and the false love that the two had let flourish foolishly.

Yet despite the wish to abolish the mix of fire and earth, he had been noticing more and more romances blooming. One of those romances revolved around one of the son of his former head warrior and the son of the former Fire Tribe leader way before Taehyung had the honor of becoming his successor.

Jungkook hadn't been pleased with the idea that Yeonjun, his best warrior, was mates with someone who's veins were connected to fire. But what could he do about it? He might as well leave them and let them figure out their path on their own.

And maybe it was time. . . Maybe it was time to just let go of everything and unite his tribe with Fire Tribe. This didn't mean he had to forgive Taehyung, but it did mean that other warriors could be together without complications. . . After all, his broken bond wasn't their fault.

Maybe it was time to move on and grow from the things he did.

"What do you mean he's gone?" Yeonjun whispered loudly so none of the warriors outside the Apprentice's den could hear him.

"We don't know!" Taehyun shot back at the older, not caring if he was disrespecting someone who was two ranks above him. "We all saw him yesterday and then he went 'woosh'. Gone with the wind."

The 20-year old stared perplexed at Taehyun and Chaeryeong. Today she was becoming a warrior along with Felix and his siblings, but now that it was almost time for the big ceremony, Felix was nowhere to be seen.

"I'm sure we'll find him," Chaeryeong joined in, she walked over and stood beside Taehyun to give him a bit of support while being slashed under Yeonjun's sharp gaze. "Seungmin and Jisung already went ahead to look for him."

Yeonjun pinched the bridge of his nose, these kids had be kidding. How could they be so irresponsible when it came to becoming warriors? Heck, he had taken his own ceremony way too seriously, and don't forget his own ceremony when he became the first Earth Tribe head warrior after 18 years.

At noticing their superior's frustration, Taehyun and Chaeryeong shared a glance. They both had an idea as to where and with who Fellix was, but they were hesitant to suggest and have Yeonjun gather up a search party to find him and his new mate.
