This book is basically Heathers the Musical if you were JD's twin sister. Essentially, if you know what's in Heathers, you know what's in this book (violence, murder, dark themes, and mentions of suicide and suicidal thoughts, in addition to mentions of abuse), so be aware of all this entails. I guess you could sort of consider this Veronica x JD, but... It's not exactly a healthy relationship, so... Maybe not.
