Days passed and Sirius and Gracie were still not back together. It had been almost a week and people were beginning to think that perhaps the couple were really done despite the past. McGonagall looked disheartened as she watched the two sulk, their moods barely lifting for short periods of time. Gracie was torn up about the whole break up struggling to cope with the change and Sirius..well he was a mess. He was constantly crying, refusing to speak to anyone unless it was about Gracie and the possibility of him fixing his relationship. But this conversation had never occurred with anyone, because truthfully no one saw any possibility of fixing their relationship. It was too far gone.
James watched as his friend sobbed into his pillow a truly devastating sight to see. The Potter boy hadn't seen the Black this upset about anything ever. "Mate...maybe you should talk to her" he suggested quietly
"Whats the use?" Sirius sobbed "She won't get back with me, we're done James"
"Do you love her?"
"More than anything" cried the boy "B-but maybe she just doesn't love me anymore."
"She does Padfoot I promise you...she just thinks that you're hurting each other with all the arguing...and of course it hurts her when she sees other girls flirting with you and you not trying to stop it..."
"But she's the only girl for me Prongs!" he choked "She's so beautiful and kind and gentle and funny and drop dead gorgeous I love her so much. I am in love with her, why did she leave me" he said tears flowing freely down his cheeks as his eyes became swollen red and puffy.
"Talk to her." James said
"I don't know what to say." confessed the boy
"Tell her what you told me."

"I love him Lils" cried Gracie "he doesn't even care! He hasn't looked at me once"
"He does care!" scolded the red head "You just look at each other the wrong times, and he's just as torn up as you are..if not worse"
"T-then why hasn't he asked for me back?" she sniffed
"Because you told him you don't want him back."
"But I do!" she cried "I regret saying that so much" she sobbed "I love him so much. I am in love with him, he's so funny, and fit and kind and gentle. And he's got this bad boy sort of thing about him-"
"Then why don't you tell him that?" frowned Lily looking at her best friend who's cheeks were stained red with tears. "If you wanted to be with him why break up? Seems a bit silly if you ask me. Talk to him"
"But we can't get back together Lils!" stressed Gracie "It's not fair on either of us...or the people who have to listen to us argue-"
"Talk to him."
"Because I don't know what to say!" she confessed
"Tell him what you told me."
